Kitchen pennisula

Recycled metal & 5/4 red pine frame complete the backside of some of the peninsula. Using color and a variety of materials and textures breaks up the wooden box feel. The wainscoat is salvaged barn siding; chair rail is from the barn's timbers. Beams were re-sawn on the portable Baker bandsaw. Jess Oullis Photography
