So sorry for the slow response. As far as we know there isn't a special waterproof treatment on this bathroom floor. But to be sure you could email the two suppliers involved in this home to help answer your query and they are Southern Concreting (they layed the floor) and Creative Concepts (they polished the floor). We hope that helps!

7. Clear winnerClever design sees this double shower sectioned off as a room-within-a-room. A simple, clear glass structure boxes in the shower area, without creating heavy visual borders within the room. The shower is not designed as the feature in this bathroom. In fact, it’s designed to recede visually and become almost invisible, allowing the more dominant, colourful elements of the bathroom to shine.

The Apaiser bath is elevated on a timber clad platform. David Trubridge pendant lighting was added to specifically create a sense of warmth and play to the space. “The colour chosen for the lighting was also matched to highlight the shades in the Scandinavian wallpaper featured on the nib wall and in the master bedroom,” adds McClelland. The greys in the vanity and bath, along with the warm colours of the timber platform and veneer, soften the polished concrete floor.
