Modern Bridge House
Contemporary Garden, Denver
One of our primary design intentions was to engage the architecture into a redesigned landscape. The site is an expansive seven acre “park” with the house located in the middle of the property. This unfortunate house location divides the lot in half physically and visually. The glass “bridge” between the new and old provides a window between the two halves of the property. The bridge area creates an almost weightless transparency to this part of the structure, helping to meld the home into the surrounding landscape.
