- Hi, I LOVE this bathroom....I was just wondering, as I am not 100% from pictures...I am correct in thinking that there is no cornices in this bathroom? Just a question - I have a sixties chamfer board place and just wondering what height to take tiles and whether to keep cornices or not...it looks like in a lot of older houses the bathroom that are tiled to ceiling (or not) mostly don't have any cornices. Is this correct? and if so, what is the reason for this. Is it because it keeps things simple/streamlined and lets the tiles become the feature or for another reason or am i just wrong and there is not set norm re whether cornices are left or not....I am wanting my bathroom to still have a sixties vibe but be modern if that makes sense.
Which styles are trending? Texture is key – whether it’s a deep, undulating marl or a classic, textured pinstripe....
