Northern Roof Tiles
One of the most prestigious projects we have supplied is the Martin House in Buffalo NY. Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1904 it was the largest residential complex of his career and one of the most expensive.
Although the house had fallen in to disrepair and a number of the buildings demolished, the Darwin Martin House Corporation have over seen its re-birth and return to its former glory.
Northern became involved in 1994 and supplied tiles for the main house in 1996 and the Barton house a year later. Once the Pergola and Garage had been re-created we again supplied tiles, finishing out a 14 year involvement with the project. This is a true masterpiece of American design and heritage and you owe yourself a visit.

AquaTerra Outdoors
This Starwood home, located in Frisco, TX, was originally designed in the Mediterranean-Tuscan style, typical of the late 90’s and early 2k period. Over the past few years, the home’s interior had been fully renovated to reflect a more clean-transitional look. Aquaterra’s goal for this landscape, pool and outdoor living renovation project was to harmonize the exterior with the interior by creating that same timeless feel. Defining new gathering spots, enhancing flow and maximizing space, with a balance of form and function, was our top priority.

Our clients approached us with what appeared to be a short and simple wish list for their custom build. They required a contemporary cabin of less than 950 square feet with space for their family, including three children, room for guests – plus, a detached building to house their 28 foot sailboat. The challenge was the available 2500 square foot building envelope. Fortunately, the land backed onto a communal green space allowing us to place the cabin up against the rear property line, providing room at the front of the lot for the 37 foot-long boat garage with loft above. The open plan of the home’s main floor complements the upper lofts that are accessed by sleek wood and steel stairs. The parents and the children’s area overlook the living spaces below including an impressive wood-burning fireplace suspended from a 16 foot chimney.
