1. Cooking zone: The cooktop and oven.
2. Cleaning zone: Often allowing for a left-to-right movement. This takes the user from the dirty zone to the clean zone, moving from the bin and the sink to the dishwasher.
3. Consumables zone: All food, whether it’s kept in the pantry or the refrigerator, including a place to unpack groceries that’s within reach or a few steps’ from the pantry and refrigerator.
4. Non-consumables zone: Cooking and dining essentials, such as pots, pans and plates.

The client brief was clean and clear - Scandinavian style.
The greatest challenge was the exposed beam, which has been beautifully painted to frame the entire kitchen and draws the eye.
The large peninsula allows the kitchen to entertain friends and family, and the extensive use of hardware, discreetly concealed, allows for ample storage space!
The high gloss lacquer complements the Oak style doors and exposed shelving.

Striving to exceed the clients expectations for a kitchen with subtle details from the country sweetish style, Jaeger & Ernst provided everything desired. Islands are multifaceted opportunities for the creative cabinet desinger as shown is this island end photo.
This sweet kitchenette in the guest suite comes equipped with powder blue appliances and open shelving. We love the matching mugs and bowls!
