Skyrocketing property prices in Islington within the last few years have turned this London area into one of the most desirable. Wise resale investments could bring huge profits and the client had planned the same purpose: make it beautiful and sell it with a good profit. Finishing quality was of the main importance in this project. The client was property developer who owns the entire building of Rufford Mews. We had full refurbished more than 10 flats in Rufford Mews. Most of the projects included new electrical installation, new central heating installation, walls were replastered, painted, engineered wood flooring installed, doors replaced, new kitchen and bathroom installed.

Derrière le canapé, un ancien lit de repos Naga sculpté en seul morceau de bois a été transformé en table basse. Le plateau en bois brut de la table basse devant le canapé est réalisé sur mesure et combiné avec un piètement personnalisé. A former old Naga bed, carved out of a single piece of wood, serves as a coffee table. This spacious modern courtyard utilises moody colours to create an air of sophistication. The inclusion of laser cut pergola, off form concrete bbq bench & large format porcelain tiles add to the contemporary feel. The planting palette is lush and textured with the deep greens balancing the tonal colours used in the retaining walls and screens. The Forest Pansy feature tree was selected to provide seasonal interest from both its foliage and flowers. The brief called for multiple entertaining spaces we designed spaces for dining, informal lounging & space where guests can congregate. Whether relaxing on the bench seat or gathering around the BBQ this courtyard is made for entertaining. Photography Peter Brennan
