Custom sliding decorative wall panel, 10 ft. in length, 7 ft. height. The panel slides to the left to screen off a secondary space when needed . A built-in soffit conceals the sliding hardware track, and houses a cove accent light for effect. Also, the existing parquet floor was removed and new bamboo flooring installed. The finish is a cherry tone polyurethane stain. Staining bamboo flooring is labor intensive because the bamboo grain is tight, so the absorption to achieve a smooth effect takes time and dries slowly. Bamboo is a material that looks just as beautiful in its natural tone.
