AFTER: The glass topped table was re-purposed to use the pedestal as a table between the 2 leather chairs with ottomans for the homeowners to enjoy the space. It's now her favorite room.

In this home renovation, we were hired to project manage and design a new kitchen, mudroom, first floor bathroom, and guest bathroom. We were also hired to stage the entire house for sale. The final result was a white kitchen and white subway tiled bathroom which created a clean and fresh modern feel even though the house was originally from the 1890s. Little Black Door Designs
Wanting to work with the existing wall color and furniture, small changes were made to give this functional room some style. Existing club chairs and a coffee table ottoman were given slipcovers, a new rug was added and shades of blue and white were used through out.

Unwinding is easier than ever with sofas that sit luxuriously deep and slipcovered swivel seats. Flaunting relaxed curves, our designs are softened by down blend cushions and linen blend upholstery. Jeff’s also anchored this blissful space with a cocktail ottoman of marked beauty and function. Decked in a weathered grey finish, the solid oak piece is a plush place to stretch your legs, a perch for additional guests and a destination for books, décor and more.

I color coordinate every room I design. She has a yellow fireplace and the blue surf board and end table. So I turned everything into blue and yellow, with tans and woods to break up the two main colors. No money was involved in designing this space, or any space in this Huntington Beach cottage. It's all about furniture re-arrangement.
