What you see as you leave through your front door will colour the rest of your day, if it is too dull to look at and only worth ignoring it may create negative emotion. A bright interesting garden though can be uplifting and create a positive emotion as you set out for the day.
This garden is at its infancy in the photo, as the Cycads grow up with the variegated star jasmine a fuller effect will emerge that more completely attracts the attention. Until this garden under the palm trees was installed the owner said she never looked out here, just rushed into her car, now she pauses ever so briefly to acknowledge some beauty. David Hogan
