Gallery Wall -
During the Victorian era there was an obsession with the natural world. Travel became accessible and Victorian's could visit exotic locations and observe rare specimens of floral and fauna. They were creating detailed sketches and collecting actual specimens of plants, birds, insects, seashells, and fossils. The sketches would be framed and specimens would be showcased in a shadowbox or glass dome. These treasures were displayed as decorative art in the Victorian home. Our gallery wall is an update of those traditional collections. Reproduction botanical prints, decorative plates and framed photographs focus on close up views of birds, bees and butterflies.

Developer George Kevo collaborated with Creative Edge Master Shop, Inc., and Aalto Design to design and fabricate floors for a French chateau masterpiece home. A project of this nature requires meticulous care and excellent craftsmanship. Both developer George Kevo and Harri Aalto, President of Aalto Design, have discerning eyes and discriminating tastes. Working together, Harri Aalto was able to interpret and add his design style to George's idea. Their collaboration yielded floors containing over 20 colors and over 2,200 ft. of stunning artistry. Some of the stones used in this project were Crema Marfil, Emperador Dark, Jerusalem Gold, Indus Gold, Quetzel Green and French Vanilla.
Design and colors were carefully chosen following the developer's interior decorations. After a month of designing and programming, Creative Edge Master Shop, iNc. fabricated and shipped over 40,000 pieces of preassembled stone flooring for installation.

Our piece for the Cape Royale Spa played a central role in providing an aesthetically relaxing visual - it was sophisticated, beautiful, in high definition and provided an air of exclusivity to the space in which it was installed.

Simply natural
The Ventura Hardwood Floors Collection with our NuOil® Finish from Hallmark Hardwoods is finished with NuOil® which employs a revolutionary new technology. The finish has unique performance characteristics and durability that make it a great choice for someone who wants the visual character that only oil can provide. Oil finishes have been used for centuries on floors and furniture. NuOil® uses proprietary technology in the application of numerous coats of oil finish in the factory that make it the industry leader in wear-ability and stain resistance in oil finish.
Due to the unique hybrid multi-coat technology of NuOil®, it is not necessary to apply an additional coat of oil at time of installation. That can be reserved for a later date when it becomes desirable to refresh and renovate the floor.

A unique take on picture rail molding using tobacco sticks, wide burlap ribbon and hooks. The walls are plaster and lathe and this allowed us to hang multiple items without littering the plaster with holes.

Skirted Table - Radiator Cover
The front door is flanked by radiators and there is no room in the foyer for furnishings. A pair of consoles over the radiators creates a place to stash keys and gloves or to display a bud vase. The wall mounted note holder works for outgoing mail, appointment reminders, or grocery lists. It also serves as an analog Pinterest Board.

Skirted Table - Radiator Cover - Detail
Custom drapery hardware is attached to the underside of the bracket table. Drapery rings with clips attach the box pleated linen skirt which hides the radiator. The skirt can easily be removed by releasing the clips while all hardware remains intact.
