Seriously - Everything about this space from the custom wine racking to the stone work to the sleek stainless steel framed doors.. a one of a kind custom wine cellar designed, built, and installed by custom wine cellar experts Vintage Cellars.
This large custom wine room sits in the entertainment room downstairs in this gorgeous Beverly Hills mansion. Walls, ceiling, and floors of stone accentuate the dark custom wine racking used to cradle each wine bottle. Metal Wine Racking is commonplace and a very popular feature in many custom wine cellars / wine rooms / wine walls / wine vaults nowadays - but this was even a first for us too. The client worked closely with designers at Vintage Cellars to come up with a very unique look and desired effect for the bottles, utilizing custom railroad pegs in the style of Carriage Bolts to display each wine bottle neck out.
This 500 bottle cellar masterpiece quickly became the showpiece of the entire downstairs of the home. Through careful consideration and planning, the design and install team was able to recess the cooling unit into the wall and duct in the cool air to keep this space at at constant 55 degrees with a perfect relative humidity.

Joseph and Curtis Custom Wine CellarsThe existing space was modified for a wine cellar cooling system. The knotty alder wine racking accommodates single bottles, display rows, case shelves and diamond bins. A wine cellar ladder and custom wrought iron wine cellar doors finish the space.
Innovative Wine Cellar DesignsWith rough-cut stone walls and a glass front, this wine cave combines old-world style with a traditional sensibility. It was a challenge to regulate the temperature, as we originally anticipated the cave would be cooler than it was. But, because this cellar is built directly into the Camelback Mountain, and not underground, the space was very warm. Our refrigeration team installed a cooling system to regulate the perfect temperature.

Leanne Michael L U X E lifestyle designCustom wine cellar with terracotta walls, dome ceiling and salvaged antique brass handles. Italian farmhouse custom kitchen complete with hand carved wood details, flush marble island and quartz counter surfaces, faux finish cabinetry, clay ceiling and wall details, wolf, subzero and Miele appliances and custom light fixtures.
Closet Organizing SystemsThe client’s wish was to create an old world Tuscany looking wine cellar in an adjoining empty space near their basement bar area.
All the racking materials and cabinets were made with natural all heart redwood and seeded glass inserts were used for the redwood framed upper doors.
An existing wine barrel was converted into a working bar sink and grape vine decorative hardware was added to doors and drawers.
Existing barn wood materials were used on the walls and ceiling and redwood plank inserts we added in between the floor tiles for an aged look.
The custom made artisan-made metal and glass entry doors completed the look.

Design Directives, LLCThis lovely home began as a complete remodel to a 1960 era ranch home. Warm, sunny colors and traditional details fill every space. The colorful gazebo overlooks the boccii court and a golf course. Shaded by stately palms, the dining patio is surrounded by a wrought iron railing. Hand plastered walls are etched and styled to reflect historical architectural details. The wine room is located in the basement where a cistern had been.

WineHiveThis luxurious walk-in wine cellar on California's central coast is fully climate-controlled, and features a floor-to-ceiling WineHive Pro racking system. Safely holding standard 750mL wine bottles and magnum 1.5L bottles in the left column, this WineHive installation is a custom 10" depth and was left not anodized, as the owner wanted a "raw industrial" feel. It perfectly fills the wood enclosure and seamlessly contours around the AC unit. Notice the honeycomb floor tiles!
