I feel obligated to share my negative experience with KM Landscaping and its owner, Mr. Kylie Moores, as a cautionary tale for anyone considering their services. The project was originally scheduled for April 6-8, 2023. However, despite my objections, Mr. Moores decided to start prematurely on March 31. He assured me that the front yard would be fully finished and cleaned up by the end of the day. However, this was not the case. The carelessness shown towards my property was shocking. My freshly sealed pavers were damaged by muddy root balls dragged across them, and a thorough clean-up was left to me. The workers left large bark chips scattered across my lawn, making mowing impossible until all the debris was removed. The quality of work was equally poor. Plants were merely tossed on top of the soil, hidden under mulch, forcing me to hire another landscaping company to correct their errors. More egregiously, they damaged my irrigation drip lines in the flower beds, which could potentially harm the new plants due to lack of water. Their negligence extended to my neighbor's property. They parked in front of my neighbor's driveway, blocking him from coming and going, and left a large load of debris at the end of his driveway, leaving the cleanup to me. I was further dismayed by their lack of professionalism. Some employees were caught on camera making inappropriate and threatening comments. Mr. Moores, when confronted with this, failed to address the issue appropriately. Regarding the project's cancellation, Mr. Moores has attempted to charge me for restocking fees. However, he had previously informed me that the materials for the second part of the project hadn't been ordered, and he has not provided any invoices or receipts to justify these supposed fees. In conclusion, my experience with KM Landscaping was characterized by a complete lack of respect for client property, subpar workmanship, unprofessional conduct, and deceptive practices. I strongly caution others when considering hiring KM Landscaping for their projects.
