Almar Building and Remodeling

We had Almar do a complete renovation of our full and half baths. I have to say that this is a very professional company. Before the work began, we received a detailed explanation of what to expect. We were also told that we would receive emails telling us when workmen would arrive as well as when inspectors would be at our house. When we did have a problem (a small leak not caused be them), it was taken care of right away. A plumber arrived the next morning, fixed the leak, and was gone before the crew arrived to start work. Every person who came into our home was a professional. They showed up on time and went right to work. They asked questions to make sure things were done the way we wanted them. I don't hesitate to recommend this company to anyone looking for quality work by dependable people.

At the end of last year, Almar remodeled our kitchen, livingroom and hallways. They hung new doors, laid new kitchen floor, installed cabinets/countertops/ backsplash, installed new plumbing fixtures, lighting, appliances and all the electrical work and plumbing that came with it. The took down walls and opened up our living space. They repaired the remaining walls and repainted everywhere. Basically, they transformed our home into a more versatile, modern and functional space for us. Months later, the finished job is still bringing intense satisfaction every time I look at it. We're using our living space in ways we couldn't before. Mark and Craig walked us through every step of the way and had plenty of expert help on call to help us make decisions and smooth the process. Caitlyn in the office guided us through the nuts and bolts of our responsibilities. She also taught us how to use their very easy & state of the art project management software to make our role as smooth as silk. Neto, Leo and a host of expert tradesman applied their years of skilled labor to transform our home exactly the way we wanted it. Basically, it was a smooth process, start to finish that transformed our home powerfully from our current home to our forever home. They guided us through every decision and coached us until we understood exactly what were doing each step in the process. Every member of the Almar team was so nice to spend time with that we seriously felt like we were saying goodbye to family when the job was done. They are a wonderful team, who do wonderful work and I'll sing their praises to anyone who'll listen. If you're considering a home improvement project, you need to call Almar. To top all of this off....Of all the contractors we spoke with, Almar gave us the best price.

Almar has done several projects for us, including a full (gut) renovation of our master bathroom, a new roof installation and new door installations. Craig Guido and Mark Caruso were outstanding in all respects. We are extremely pleased with all aspects of Almar's work, especially the timing and quality of the outcomes. We will use Almar again on future projects and highly recommend them.

This past spring we contracted with Almar to replace 17 windows in our one hundred plus years old house. From the beginning of the process it was straight forward and not a mystery. They answered all our questions and even provided answers to questions we didn't even think to ask. Once the project got under way Almar kept us informed about who their staff was going to be on the job and what experience they brought to the project. They installed over$10,000.00 worth of windows in a very short time frame. They also informed me about damage from water that the house had sustained prior to the beginning of the project. They gave me several options to repair the damage and the quoted work was done on time and within the budget. I will be hiring them again next year to replace some older doors and other projects that we couldn't get to this year. We highly recommend Almar to work on your home. My wife or I never felt uncomfortable with the people on the project. Which in the past we were with other contractors. If you want professional, respectful, and pride in craftsmanship choose Almar.

I could not have been happier with our bathroom remodel project! Working with Almar was stress free and easy to manage. The office team was comprehensive in quoting, communication and follow up. Working with the construction team was a breeze. They were incredible in getting our bathroom back in working order in days. Having them handle coordinating the tile work, construction, painting and electrical made everything so easy. I would recommend the service and quality to anyone.

I've had two jobs completed by Almar now, and both were done at a very high quality. The first was a makeover of the bathroom upstairs which had previously been a DIY tile operation by the previous owner which did not go well. The second job was repair and restoration of a large leak that we had in our porch into our basement. I would hire them again, and they were wonderful to do business with.

Came out and gave me a free estimate on some work I need done. Professional and friendly, will consider working with them in the future.
