Working with Amy @ Architrave Interiors was one of our best decisions in this project. We wanted a full kitchen renovation to transform the 70's OG look into a modern chef-ready and family-friendly gathering space. New to this process for such an undertaking, we needed a partner who could help educate us on what to expect and guide us to making some smart choices. Amy was recommended to us by friends who had worked with her on their project and we are happy to recommend her to anyone looking to upgrade their homes. She was always thorough with follow-through and has the best supplier relationships that really made the process work well for style, schedule, and budget. Amy Rothman has been our remodel angel for this past year. She has guided, informed, listened, and been a calming source throughout our project. Along with the excitement of a planned kitchen remodel, comes a nervousness and anxiety tied to all the uncertainties involved in making your vision a reality. This was our first kitchen remodel, and we knew that we needed the right professionals to help us with the design and to assist us with all of the myriad decisions that are required. Selecting Amy Rothman of Architrave Interiors as our kitchen designer and consultant was the very best thing we did, and we couldn’t be happier with the kitchen (and laundry room) that she helped us create. From the outset, Amy’s patience, and her ability to walk us through the process, allowed us to create space that we could not have envisioned on our own. With a plan in hand, she was able to tap into a trusted team of professionals, and a rich pool of resources that made the process that much easier. She stood by us each step of the way in planning and selecting appliances, tiles, counter-tops, plumbing fixtures, cabinetry, and all the necessary components of our kitchen. She even helped us create new closet space in our 1920s home. She has outstanding taste, and her experience helped us avoid problems down the road. We highly recommend Amy without any reservation!

Can I give 6 stars? We engaged Amy to redesign our kitchen; somehow she not only gave us that, but also showed us how to relocate our bathroom and add a bar area without pushing out any exterior walls. Her design maximized every square inch yet it does not feel cramped. We thought we were hiring a designer; what we got was an amazing project coordinator. She has an encyclopedic knowledge of materials, appliances, cabinets, colors, and window coverings. She answered every question within minutes: I do not think she ever sleeps. She defended her suggestions with intelligence and determination, but also knew when to stop pushing them. If we asked her for her thoughts on kitchen pendants, we would wake up in the morning to a dozen on-point internet links. She seems to know every home improvement shop in Los Angeles and the Valley. And as much as we love her design sense, we appreciated even more her relationship with Bruce, the contractor she paired us with. When issues arose, she was a tiger advocating for us (and do not get me wrong, we also love Bruce). She speaks the language of contracting and was able to translate our ideas to him, and his processes to us. An amazing designer, supervisor, touchstone, and human being.

We have done two major kitchen remodels with Architrave, in two very different styles, and both are great. Amy listens, supports or vetoes ideas diplomatically, designs with creative vision and practical sensibility, and problem-solves throughout (which was put to the ultimate test for the second remodel, during the pandemic, which frayed the nerves of everyone involved). We are very happy with our new kitchen and give our unabashed recommendation!

We built a house from ground up and hiring Amy was one of the best decisions we made. Our architect had a hard time laying out our house the way we wanted. When we went over our plans with Amy, she completely turned them around to exactly what we had in mind. She noted that many of the proportions were off and made some really helpful recommendations. Aside from guiding us through space planning, she helped us design our kitchen and bathrooms and now that we are moved in, we really appreciate all of her thoughts and recommendations. She was so thoughtful about how the layout would affect our day to day life, there's no way we would have come up with many of these ideas on our own. Not only does everything look beautiful but it's functional and flows so well. The level of attention to detail that Amy has is unparalleled and her wealth of knowledge is beyond anything we expected. We are so grateful we hired Amy and would highly recommend her, you will not be disappointed!

I had a great experience renovating my main bathroom with Amy. She came up with a great layout that dramatically improved the existing space, has a great eye in selecting materials, colors, etc. to fit my vision, and was extremely generous with her time assisting me in shopping for fixtures, tile & stone. I'd highly recommend!

I highly recommend Amy Rothman at Architrave Interiors for any and all renovations! Our mid-1980s condo needed a LOT of updating and she has been invaluable help in designing new and more livable spaces. She’s so thoughtful, and helped me find what style I wanted, encouraging to me as I looked at materials. She really helped me feel more confident about my choices. She also kept me from going wildly over budget when selecting materials. Now I have the most gorgeous Main Suite Bath, an incredible laundry room, she rescued a guest bath that was literally dangerous, and we will be contracting her to do our Kitchen next! She also is incredible at managing communications between contractors and vendors. If you want to have complete trust in your designer and be delighted by your improved home, call Architrave!

To say that Amy is an amazing designer who pays attention to the smallest of details really doesn't accurately describe her work. I would say she is more of a miracle worker. We had Amy completely redesign our small kitchen and I honestly am not sure how she was able to give us the dream kitchen we always wanted. From the very beginning, she listened to all of our wants and needs and was able to work them in seamlessly. Our house was built in 1932 and Amy helped us pick out the style and colors that made our new kitchen look as if it was always there....but better. Her insight, expertise, and patience are invaluable and we will also be using her magnificent skills to redesign one of our bathrooms. I honestly cannot say enough good things about Amy. She is worth every penny and more.

I don't know how I would have done this job without Amy. I remodeled a bathroom and bedroom. She was with me every step of the way. If I needed to return to the marble warehouse 3 times, she came with me 3 times and never complained. She listened to my vision and helped me create it and gently steered me away from ideas that would not work. She has great taste and a good esthetic. Also, there were times in the remodel with supply delays, worker errors and general chaos that I was about to come unglued and she calmly talked me through these moments. That was invaluable. One area Amy really helped, was she followed through with vendors and keeping me updated on when things were in and fixing it when things came in wrong. I highly recommend working with Amy and would definitely hire her again. Her fees are also extremely reasonable. My bathroom came out beautiful!

I can't recommend Architrave highly enough! Amy Rothman is an exceptionally skilled creative problem solver! She came up with kitchen/bathroom solutions that were so smart and functional. In addition, her aesthetic sense and eye for detail is unparalleled. Amy knows everything there is to know about materials, appliances, etc, etc. In addition, she managed to find amazing deals! Five stars are not enough for Architrave.
