Ana Cummings, of ANA Interiors is the only IDRC and DDA multiple national award-winning show home designer in the province of Alberta. She filmed two seasons as the Design Expert on CTV's Homes and Lifestyles Canada. Her work is internationally published and her studio offers full service interior design and decorating that specializes in original unable-to-leave spaces. Ana is also a Certified Aging In Place Specialist (CAPS) and works with clients in and outside of Canada. Ana is an expert in Luxury Condominiums, Penthouses, Manse & Estate Homes, Villas, Micro Condos, Hotel & Boutique Spaces. Niche use rooms such as Spa Baths, Kitchens, Yoga & Exercise, Bedrooms, Dining Rooms, Specialty Craft & Laundry Rooms. Ana Cummings of "ANA Interiors" is truly exceptional! I recently completed a five-year renovation project on the beautiful Island of Sint Maarten, and Ana has been with me every step of the way. She and her team's arrival on the island for the final touches and furniture installation was nothing short of remarkable. They utilized their local contacts to source most of the furniture and fixtures, ensuring that everything was placed and installed in the most perfect locations. Ana's attention to detail and her unparalleled ability to blend pieces together to create the ideal picture are astonishing. Before the house even hit the market, it was bought by the very first person who looked at it, a testament to Ana's extraordinary talent. You know what they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, and the Sint Maarten Villa pictures on her website speak volumes. Ana surpassed my already high expectations by a mile. We have just finished our home renovation, and we had enlisted Ana’s help - we were overwhelmed with the multitude of decisions required on how to deal with a 27 year old home that needed some serious updating. She helped transform our tired and dated home into a showpiece! Ana, and her assistant, Christy, were able to understand our needs and wishes and were very willing to work within our budget to pull everything together. She was pleasant, open to suggestions, worked to deadline, resourceful and just a real delight to collaborate with. And really important to us was her ability to work well with our general contractor; problem solving and coming up with creative solutions. Ana has a great eye and inspired style - she knows how to create that “Wow” factor! We can’t wait to show off our new home. Hiring Ana was one of the best decisions we ever made. Truly.

We had a family room that dated back to the 70s. Ana designed the whole room including a new fireplace and painting of our dark wood paneling. The room would now fit in any show home. I am excited every time I walk into the room. Wow! Ana and her design team were excellent to work with. I would highly recommend her.

We are about half way through a renovation in our 1958 house (kitchen, main bathroom and installation of a fireplace) which was very overdue but we were hesitant to begin based on a few bad past experiences. Ana and her team were recommended to us by another designer and we have been very happy with our experience so far. The designer we are working with directly (Susan) and the contractor (Sandro) have been excellent with their communication with us and keeping us focussed and on schedule (if not a little ahead of schedule). We will definitely be looking to work together with this team again in the future.

We renovated our house, and I hired Ana to help us choose our colours, furniture and accessories. The money we spent on Ana was the best money we spent! I appreciated that she thought very holistically about the house and how it would all come together. She picked paint colours that worked with pieces of art, the floor, the tile, etc., as well as colours that complemented each other. These were not colours I would have chosen myself, but I trusted her, and she was absolutely right! She also advised us on light fixtures, furniture, window coverings, throw pillows and more, and my husband and I are thrilled with the results! Ana has a natural talent for style and colour, and she is wonderful to work with. I am so grateful to have her advice when making these important (and expensive) decisions! I will recommend Ana to anyone I know who is renovating or making changes to their house.

Ana put together a beautiful new master bedroom for us. The project started with two chairs discarded by a family member...I wondered if they were suitable for our bedroom? Not only did Ana recognize the quality of the chairs, but declared herself a believer of recycling used items. She quickly honed in on my color preferences, and brought over several fabric choices - enough to choose from, but not so many to overwhelm me. She used a great upholster and the chairs returned looking updated and fabulous! Additionally, she assisted with the selection of drapes (custom made), bedding, headboard (custom made), lamps, cushions, and other decorative accessories. Ana found lovely pieces, yet usually at very reasonable prices. A small table was purchased at a consignment store, lamps at Pier 1, a few other pieces at Winners. She suggested splurging on beautiful fabrics for a few cushions -well worth the cost a they are so unique and really do pull things together so well. The piece de resistance though turned out to be the stunning upholstered headboard. Perhaps more ornate than I initially envisioned, it truly is beautiful. The project took a bit longer than anticipated, mostly due to unanticipated delays, beyond anybody's control. Ana stayed within budget and delivered a beautiful and comfortable space. Thank you Ana.

Redesigning my flooded basement and updating my living room and dining room with Ana Cummings has been a wonderful, stress-free experience! I chose Ana based on others' recommendations. Ana carefully listened to my goals, budget, and design preferences. In a only a few days, she presented drawings and samples of products that she envisioned for my spaces. Immediately I loved the beauty and style of her choices that were so closely matched to my ideals. She gave me choices about the amount of involvement I wanted and completed all tasks with amazing expertise. I now have a beautiful bedroom, bathroom, media room and yoga/exercise room thanks to Ana. As well we updated my main floor spaces and I have received so many compliments! She has valuable connections with great suppliers and even shopped for consignment bookshelves that she had painted. Ana Cummings at Tinge Interiors renovated our master bedroom and ensuite, as well as a powder room on the main level of our home. Her professionalism stood out from the first meeting. She is experienced in design and demonstrated good knowledge of the various trades involved in renovation. She was patient and diplomatic with not only us her clients, but also with the tradespeople. We certainly appreciated her organization, her promptness for appointments, and her timely responses to e-mails and phone calls. Ana obligingly and creatively addressed our wishes to use family heirlooms of furniture as well as existing furniture pieces. The results were not only emotionally satisfying to us, but stunning in aesthetic appeal. Our friends and family were very impressed upon seeing the transformation of our rooms and pieces of furniture. One of the key points that makes Ana a professional who we can confidently recommend to others is that Ana has a keen sense of style, and she picks up on the overall flow of a home. We have had other designers work on two other levels of our home, and Ana was able to identify the predominant theme, and interpret it in her designated rooms in a upscale, stylish manner. We are very satisfied with the results and find all the rooms that she renovated appealing, practical, comfortable and a pleasure to spend time in. When the need arises, we will hire her again without hesitation.
