I highly recommend Hajnal Butyan and Atlantic Stone. Hajnal and Atlantic Stone offer wonderful products, client services and competitive prices! Hajnal has a passion for her trade and she makes everything easy. I knew right away I wanted to work with Hajnal. I ordered about 20 crates of white shell reef limestone. I tried to locate and purchase this product for a while, but the colors varied at other stone sources, the sales people were difficult and had no interest in finding the right product and sizes and the price was always a moving target. Hajnal immediately made an impression. Hajnal had command of her inventory, knowledge of the product, was able to confirm consistent color in the stone and locate requested oversized pieces and she was accommodating in every way. You feel like you are working with a friend when you work with Hajnal, she is extremely likable, personable, responsive and professional. Working with Hajnal and Atlantic Stone was a great experience.

Originally we were totally impressed with Atlantic Stone - good product at good prices. We visited the showroom and found a perfect marble in April - however, when we tried to callback to purchase it we never got a call back as we tried daily for 2 1/2 weeks leaving messages for Alfonso, the sales person, but received no reply - we learned when we drove to the showroom the slabs were gone. Fortunately, we found another marble and ordered 2 other smaller slabs of marble back in May and paid for Atlantic Stone to deliver them to our fabricator. We learned in mid July that Atlantic Stone never delivered them so we had to callback to get A.S. to ship them to our fabricator. Alfonso stated that A.S. had tried to deliver them but our fabricator wanted to reschedule - this was the first of many false statements to be made by Alfonso. A.S. never called nor tried to deliver the slabs until we A.S. called them back 2 months later in July. The situation only grew worse when the slabs that were delivered were literally cracked in half with a half dozen chunks broken out of each slab. The A.S. delivery guy drove off before the fabricator could set them down off the truck - they turned around to see the delivery truck going down the street. Once they were set on the ground that is when they noticed the severity of the slabs. Both the fabricator and ourselves called Alfonso who began to make further false statements that we knew about the damage "fisher cracks" and we had approved it. We did not nor were we shown damaged slabs - we have photos of what we were shown. Alfonso further said I went to the store by myself and approved the 2 slabs - and "tagged them" again both false statements. I was always accompanied by my husband the 2 times we went to the showroom. My husband tried to reason with Alfonso, but Alfonso continued with his false claims. Finally he offered us a new slab at "their cost" - BUT that cost was 20% higher than what we originally paid so again another false statement.
We believe ones character is built when things aren't working out - how one handles conflicts is their "reputation". Some can live with a bad reputation while others strive to sustain it - Atlantic Stone would not be a company we would refer based on their reputation they have built with us based on our personal contact with them.

In March 2014, after months of searching for marble flooring for our new home, my wife and I found what we believed was what we had been looking for at Atlantic Stone. We were taken into the warehouse to see the material, but of the 12 crates we purchased (over 2300 Sq Ft) we were only allowed to see 2-3 pieces from 2 crates (company policy). Being uneducated as to what to look for regarding quality of material, we trusted Atlantic Stone to deliver a quality product. The material was paid for in full. Because we did not need the material for several months, we were hesitant to purchase so far in advance. However, Atlantic Stone agreed to hold the material in their warehouse until it was needed. After 6 weeks, however, we were told they could no longer hold the material and it had to be delivered. We argued that we were told otherwise, but Atlantic Stone refused to hold the material any longer without charging a ridiculous storage fee. My wife and I relented and the material was delivered to our installer's warehouse (Atlantic Stone recommended and referred) where it was held for another six weeks. Two weeks ago, the material was delivered to our home. After opening more than half the crates of material and laying approximately 80 pieces, the installers (again, Atlantic Stone recommended and referred) advise my wife and I that the material was defective; more than half of the material pulled from the first crates were damaged (cracked at the edges, chipped along the sides, ect). The installer went on to say that there was no point in continuing to lay the material as he would never have enough "good material" to work with. I immediately called our sales person from Atlantic Stone and advised him of the issue. This was on a Monday. Meanwhile, the renovation on my home was at a standstill because everything was waiting on the floor. My salesperson said that they would take care of the problem. However, as the week went on, I was put off and delayed. I was told they had more material coming in that week to replace the old, defective material but it never did. I was told that the owner's were out of town in Turkey and "unreachable" but that I could speak with the manager and he could resolve the issue. I took the morning off work to go to their store and speak with the manager. After waiting 30 minutes I was told by the manager, Ozzie, that he could not issue any refunds or credits or make any decisions without speaking to the owners....who were in Turkey. I had now been run around and delayed for a full week. The progress of work at my home had stopped for a full week. I don't know why a company the size of Atlantic Stone has managers in place incapable of resolving this type of issue or why in this day and age of technology, they are unable to communicate with the owners in Turkey. It is now 10 days later and I have not been contacted back by anyone. I have had pay to have the old, defective material chiseled up and removed. I have also had to pay to have the old, defective material re-crated. Finally, I have had to find and buy all new material to be installed. I have tried over and over again to resolve this issue with the owners. They are not cooperating. Because the material sat crated for 3 months, I was not aware of the defect until just 2 weeks ago. I have been told by three separate professional marble installers that this was not an issue in transportation. They all agree that his issue has to do with the material itself and that the material is defective.
I currently live in a new development with many people searching for companies that will provide them with materials such as the ones sold by Atlantic Stone. I will make sure everyone is aware that Atlantic Stone is not the company that they should invest their money in. Their product is defective and their customer service is mediocre at best.

Thank you so much for letting us know how pleased you are with your purchase. At Atlantic Stone Source, we take great pride in offering the highest level of service to our customers. I'd love to see the pictures of the finished project. Thanks again!
Excellent customer service. I saw their listing on ebay for trim tile and called them up due to needing a larger quantity. Vanessa was very helpful and attentive to detail. She shipped me a sample piece to Ohio immediately and I decided to purchase. The product arrived within a few day. Unfortunately, the shipping company must have dropped the box and caused the side of the box to blow out and broke several tiles. Vanessa saw that I had received the box and before I even had a chance to call about the broken tiles, she was calling me to see if I was satisfied. She arranged for the shipping company to pick the tiles back up and sent out a new shipment right away which arrived a few days later. Vanessa again called to make sure I was satisfied with my order. The price of the tile was half the cost verses the local box hardware store and the Customer Service was excellent. I would definitely buy from them again in the future.
