A - Z Improvements is exceptional. So glad I found them. Bill is wonderful to deal with. Knowledgeable. Old-school work ethic. Fair. The craftsmen who completed my bathroom renovation were skilled, professional, clean. I was very comfortable with them in my home. They found and repaired issues I was unaware of. I won’t be using anyone else from now on.

Our experience with A-Z Improvements has left us feeling extremely disappointed. We engaged their services to undertake the remodeling of two of our bathrooms, attracted by their claims of having a top-tier team and competitive pricing. Regrettably, our interactions with them have been far from satisfactory and closely resemble a bait-and-switch scenario, where the initial terms have drastically evolved from what was originally promised. At the outset, Bill from A-Z Improvements provided us with a project quote that we agreed upon. However, our optimism quickly turned sour when we received an email from Thomas, Bill's son, that demanded additional funds. The email stated: "After reviewing your material selections with my father, these fixtures and varieties of tile are very high end, will require a lot of planning to ensure proper installation - additionally we will have to put our most skilled people on this project (which will delay things a bit as they are currently on different projects). We would have to request a change in the project price for an additional $7,500." The materials we had selected were sourced from build.com and were not extravagant by any means, perhaps only marginally more expensive than those found at Home Depot. What's particularly perplexing is the contradiction between their initial assertion of having the "best men" for the job and their subsequent revelation that they would have to bring in their "best men" due to the higher-grade materials we chose. This naturally prompts the question: Were they not deploying their top team from the outset? The clear implication is that their earlier proclamations were nothing more than hollow assurances. I strongly advise against hiring A-Z improvement for any project. Their lack of transparency, unethical pricing practices, and contradictory claims about their team's expertise make them an unreliable and untrustworthy choice. Save yourself the headache and frustration by looking elsewhere for a contractor who values honesty, integrity, and professionalism.

We understand your concerns about the pricing and the change in project scope. Our goal is to provide accurate and comprehensive project quotes that reflect the highest level of craftsmanship to provide proper installation of your chosen fixtures and finishes. Due to the lack of knowledge on the full scope of finish fixtures chosen which were later communicated to us after signing. We acknowledge that this was not the experience you were expecting, and we take this feedback seriously. The additional work order presented to you after you informing us the extent of finishes, varieties of tile, and desired upgrades in styles, patterns, etc. Those of which were not communicated to us until after we had signed to do your project. These upgrades were not in line with the original quotation provided, which is why the additional work order was presented.

Once again, this will be used to help us improve our services and due diligence on future projects. So situations like this do not arise again. We take pride in the expertise and dedication of our team members, and we want to clarify that our intention was to ensure the successful installation of the materials you selected.

Your feedback serves as a valuable reminder for us to continuously improve our processes, communication, and transparency. We are committed to addressing the issues you've raised internally to prevent similar situations from occurring in the future. We genuinely regret that your experience did not align with our values of honesty, integrity, and professionalism. Please do not use this contractor. Poor quality work. Does not use licensed workers. Lots of problems. And Bill does not follow through with his promises.

Bill and his team went above and beyond with the work they did in our home. We were originally working with another contractor but unfortunately the work wasn't getting done. After just one meeting with Bill we knew he would be great for the job and he did not disappoint. We had a leak in a bathroom wall that no one was able to detect for several months. Bill came in and found a leak in no time and was able to repair it. Bill was very knowledgeable about all the items that needed to be completed and worked within our budget to make our kitchen, 2 bathrooms and flooring come out great. He was extremely professional and worked in a timely manner. We are very satisfied with the finished product and just as satisfied with A to Z Improvements. Will absolutely hire them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a contractor!!!

I contacted A to Z to do a complete kitchen remodel. I had an old kitchen with horrible cabinets. After my first meeting with Bill I knew he was the man to go with. Accompanied by his son's, they run a great operation. They helped me find great new cabinets at a great cost, countertops as well, and the quality of the work from their crew is unbeatable! would definitely recommend them for all of your home improvement needs. very pleasant to work with. made the whole process simple and easy. will be contacting them again in a couple months to re-do my deck!

I cant express how happy I am with the work that A to Z Improvements did in my house. They remodeled two of my bathrooms. Complete bathroom remodels. Redid my showers using the Schluter shower system in both bathrooms. Installed radiant heated floor system under the tiles. The tile work was amazing. I will recommend Bill and Tom to all my friends and will use them for my future projects!

I initially contacted Bill to replace three windows in my Livingroom. His extraordinary level of professionalism, and attention to detail to achieve thoroughness, accuracy and quality work led us to hire him to do additional work for us, Bill and his team were wonderful. They completely gutted my very old bathroom and created this absolutely beautiful bathroom that completely blew my mind. Bill also replaced the carpet in two bedrooms and living room with hardwood flooring. He also replaced my kitchen floor. He replaced eleven interior doors in my house, along with the Bilco door in my basement. I am extremely satisfied with the work that Bill and his team did for us. They are always on time for work and the guys are very pleasant and just like Bill, pays attention to detail. Bill listens to his customers and communicate every detail of the job to us. I love the fact that Bill is very detailed oriented and exemplify every bit of professionalism, it was pleasure having Bill and his team work for us

Bill spent few hours shopping with us at Home Depot and Loews to understand what our options are for materials before we even hired him. Bill and his team are professional, experienced, trustworthy, knowledgeable and responsive. Every question and concern I had was addressed and resolved and bathroom came out beautifully. I highly recommend them and can't say enough great things!

I hired A to Z Improvements because I had an emergency with my bathroom when the tiles collapsed into the wall and mold was exposed. I put out a "shout out" through Houzz, since this is the only bathroom in our Bi-level home. Bill answered the call and appeared at our door the next day. He came up with a redo that fit our budget and brought us up to date with bathroom trends. He worked with our schedule, and was very meticulous about the details inside and outside on every part of this total gut and redo bathroom project. We are thrilled with how it turned out, and thankful that he and his crew did professional and careful work while keeping our needs and the structure of the house in mind. As the work progressed, he suggested the best way to do it right, whether it be added insulation, tiles, ceiling fan, lighting, plumbing, accessories, and he even met with us at Lowe's so we could pick out the materials with his approval. Bill was a pleasure to work with, he considered our every need, and concern above and beyond. I highly recommend Bill Zaremba and his crew for your "A to Z home improvements", you will not be disappointed.

Having hired A to Z on two prior occasions, I had no hesitations on hiring them again to add an addition to my home. Unfortunately, three times was “Not the Charm”. A project that was estimated to take three months lasted just under a year to complete. On many occasions, Workers did not arrive on time, as well as not show up for days or even weeks at a time, without so much as a phone call. Some of the workers were not as respectful of my home and failed to leave the home in a presentable condition, such as failing to clean up paint spills, leaving pain brushes in the sink, using tape that removed the paint from a NEW door, removing wiring around doors and failing to reattach, leaving/placing drink and food containers on newly installed HARD WOOD FLOORS, window sills and NEW FURNTURE, leaving work materials in back yard for months, etc. I have since outsourced pending open items to another contractor to resolve.

Thank you for your review.
We would like to address these issues that we were not aware of prior to this review;
1) Workers not arriving on time... due to the scale of this job, multiple sub-contractors were required, unfortunately due to inspection schedules that held us up for weeks, these sub-contractors had arranged other work during these delays, which subsequently caused even further delay.
2) Workers not respecting your home... This issue has not been addressed with us during the time of the work. Would we have been informed of this, we would have taken
immediate action to prevent this from happening. We were under the impression that everything was okay at the time.
We apologize for any hardship this may have caused you. We will use this as an example for our future projects to be more mindful when using certain sub-contractors. We appreciate you addressing these issues with us now, however if we were informed at the time of work we could have taken immediate action to prevent the above issues from re-occurring. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to complete this project for you, and we hope you enjoy the addition on your home we have constructed.

We are so pleased with our bathroom. It's beautiful! Couldn't be happier! Bill was a true professional and extremely responsible and responsive. Always available and accommodating. The job came within budget too. Vasyle was a true artisan with tile. A true craftsman. And detail oriented and meticulous with every other aspect from electrical to plumbing. Everything was cleaned up at the end of each day. They went over and above when we asked for additional projects. And were always pleasant and great to work with! Highly recommend and will work with them again.

Remodeling our kitchen was a huge job and we talked with a number of contractors before selecting Bill and his team. He made us feel most comfortable and explained the entire project piece by piece before beginning. Bill also offered valuable guidance in planning, purchasing, budgeting, and design suggestions. Best of all, he worked closely with us to implement our design choices that we wanted in the kitchen. His team was great and very polite when working throughout the project. Bill also closely supervised the project with regular check-ins in person or on the phone. He always made himself available for questions or concerns. I'd highly recommend A to Z for your next renovation.

Over the past 10 years A to Z Improvements has solved big and small problems for me and my family: My bathroom redesign is one example of how highly regarded Bill's work is, to me and countless others. My bathroom was difficult because of space limitations and damage done to the walls and flooring. Bill's expertise was so valuable solving the problem. He took the extra time to find a solution and afterwards to make sure everything was okay. Bill is a walking, working library of building and design knowledge --he knows how to solve problems, and how to build to last. He really epitomizes the word 'craftsman'. And I have seen his expertise again and again for 10 years now. Highest recommendation.

AtoZ Improvements are my go-to contractors and have done multiple jobs in my new home, the most recent of which was my master bathroom. The owner Bill is truly an artist and takes the time to discuss design with you, he has a GREAT eye for detail and will explain every detail of your project so that you understand exactly how the work will be done. He will not stop until the job is done to perfection and within budget! Thank God because it is hard to find contractors that are reliable or care these days! Hire AtoZ Improvements, don't waste time searching elsewhere, this is a sure thing!
