Before Thanksgiving I contracted for valances for three openings; 2 shorter openings (picture 1) and one longer opening (picture 2). I provided the fabric; they measured and discussed design. The valances for the 2 shorter openings were completed on time. The seams were not hidden in the box pleat but were acceptable. The valance for the longer opening arrived weeks late and didn’t fill the opening (approx 18-24” too short, side-to-side). Also the drop length was too long (covered too much of the opening/window) and the pleated were not in the correct locations. They took the valance back to their workshop. Now we are in March and still no longer valance. After more than 14 weeks and a barrage of voice mails, texts and questinging, the valance was delivered! I received a text they would install in less than 24 hours; they scheduled to arrive between 9:30-10:15 AM. I moved around appointments to accommodate; really glad to complete the job. At 10:00 AM I texted asking if they were in their way. “No, coming between 3-4:00PM”. Really? I was shocked! After a text holding them to the original appointment the delivery man arrived about 2 hours late. He didn’t have time to install, just drop it off. After providing a laddder for him and me standing in a chair, he finally agreed to place the approximately 15 foot valance on the brackets - not secure it - just place it on the brackets because, as he said, he had to be at another job. The valance filled the opening (side-to-side) this time but still hung too long (from the ceiling) over the opening. It was wrinkled and the seams were obvious. The box pleats were is the proper location but poorly constructed. Save yourself the headache! Try another company. Avoid these guys.

My initial experience with Avanti Design was in 2017. Nohemi helped me with our living room window treatments. The entire process, from first consultation to installation, was outstanding and could not have gone more smoothly. Nohemi is a real professional with a very warm, engaging personality. This past week I needed a professional drapery installer to perform a relatively minor repair on one of my master bedroom treatments. Contacted Nohemi, thinking she might know of an installer she'd recommend for me to call. She was most receptive to my problem and asked if she could get back with me. Less than 24 hours later, she phoned with someone to do the job THE NEXT DAY! I was blown away.....We moved to Dallas from out of state almost two years ago, have experienced a # of service people for various needs but cannot think of ONE that's been as helpful and customer friendly as Nohemi. And the Installer did a wonderful job for me too! I would strongly recommend Avanti Designs to anyone who's looking for a quality window treatment company....feel confident you will come away delighted as well!!

I've nothing but praise for Nohemi and her professional approach to her business. Very high marks for integrity. No wonder she has clients all over saying good thing about her. We had a rough journey together with the material I chose not having arrived on time (shipment from outside the country) as per the commitment dates. Not her fault by any stretch, but she took full ownership and kept it honest despite difficult conversations/negotiations. Long story short, when we finally decided on a new fabric that she painstakingly worked to help me pick, made sure it was beautifully stitched and put together in time. Her team of installers are very professional as well and friendly. I'd recommend Nohemi's team to anyone who's looking for perfection and professionalism.

Over the past several years, Avanti Designs has completed both upholstery and window curtain projects for me. The finished products always turn out to be more beautiful than expected and are of very high quality workmanship.
