Chris did an excellent job on my custom dining room table. His expertise on how to build a live edge, large slab table was something many other woodworkers in my area did not have. When he took on my project I knew he would do a great job because of the way he took ownership of the process and what he expected out of the finished product. I will definitely call on Bannister Woodworking again for my next woodworking project big or small.

We chose to work with Chris and Michelle as they were meticulously organized, on-time with appointments and we collaborated very well with ideas presented. In addition to all that they were people of their word and extremely respectful of my home with the install and cleanup afterwards. Their product was delivered exactly as promised and I absolutely LOVE IT. When we are ready to do our kitchen remodel Chris and Michelle are the only people I will call. After all was said and done we invited them to our "reveal" party and introduced them to our family and friends should they need their services You won't be sorry for a minute in working with them!!!

Bannister did an amazing job creating a built in media system in my traditional/transitional home. The construction is flawless and creative. They built in a false back and drop down drawer fronts so that all my components are easily accessed but completely hidden. They were great with little details like figuring the exact placement of knobs and pulls and the cut of the base to blend with my existing mill work. Every time they came, they were very neat, tidy and efficient. Cannot say enough good things! I love it when you find such talented and genuinely kind craftsmen/woman. Almost a year after installation, we got a gaming system and they came right out and made adjustments to accommodate the console. Above and beyond anything they were obligated to do as they offered to make the opening at the time of installation and I had declined.

We have worked with Chris Bannister woodworking many times on many projects. As architects, we have to be careful who we refer. Chris Bannister was trained by his father, an exceptional cabinetmaker with whom we've had a long history going back some 20 years. The Bannister's are reliable. They work well with our clients, they work well with our designs, they deliver and install their work on time; and do it all for a reasonable cost. I highly recommend our clients use competent custom cabinetmaker's rather than just about any prefab cabinet-kitchen store. They are quicker, more custom, and generally more cost effective. That is the case with Bannister Woodworking, of Lodi California.

My project was a whole house remodel including kitchen and bath cabinetry for a 3 bath household. This cabinet maker is not only excellent but the personal service is exemplary. I had a profile of my design but they provided important suggestions. They were on time and on budget and went beyond most professionals. If there is ever a question or problem they are immediate in their help and response. I would hire them again without hesitation. More importantly they are so personable to work with. They make remodeling fun.

We hired Bannister Wood Working five years ago during the construction of our new home. They cabinets that they made are beautiful we receive compliments all the time. They are very professional, their prices are reasonable and I would highly recommend them.

We engaged Bannister Woodworking to do all the cabinets and all woodwork for the full remodel of our home, including a specially designed fireplace wall. We were referred by our acrhgitect; we wondered if Bannister could possibly be as good as we were told they were by our acrhitect - and by several other homeowners who had used Bannister Woodworking for their projects. Well they did a fantastic job for us. I have referred them without reservation to several of our friends and used them for a project in anothere location. Prices were reasonable and quality is excellent. We found the upgrades we chose to be well worth the reasonable costs for the improvements. Our cabinets still look and work like new! Shop if you want to - but choose Bannister!

Bannister Woodworking built a custom cupcake display cabinet and customer counter for us. The counter top is made from Chocolate Bamboo with an epoxy coating, and the front is made from Kirei Board (made from compressed marsh reeds) and the entire unit is very functional yet at the same time very attractive. We have used the counter and display case every day for the three and a half years in our cupcake bakery and it still looks like new. We are so impressed with their work we are having them build us another counter and display case for our second location under construction as we speak.

Bannister Woodworking is top notch. The quality of their product is the best...true artisan workmanship. Incredible design vision and skills as well. They have done family room cabinetry for me, as well as designed and built our mudroom. I am having them bid a Master Bedroom job for me. Incredible attention to detail. I am picky, but Chris Bannister is more picky about his work than I. His work is perfection. Above all of that, he and Michelle are a delight to work with and are honorable and ethical business people. They do what they say they will, on time, with amazing quality and incredible customer service. If you hire them once you will want to hire them again. I can't provide a higher recommendation.
