My husband and I recently retired and have been renovating our old, smaller home. Overwhelmed with the scale of the reno and the options for finishing the interior, we turned to Catherine to help us design an open concept space, that reflects our tastes and has great flow. Catherine asked a lot of questions about our vision for the space. She came back with some amazing ideas. From the flooring, to the counter tops, wall colors and light fixtures, Catherine has helped us to capture the vision we had for our dream home. I feel fortunate to have worked with Catherine MacArthur on my kitchen renovation. Her architecture background and attention to detail elevated the project to a new level. She was able to quickly come up with accurate scaled sketches with her drafting software that assisted the trades and myself in starting the project. She took the time to get a good sense of what I wanted and used creative ideas to add some lovely finishing touches. She was also very resourceful in finding out information on products and extremely patient with me finding just the perfect piece(s). Catherine brought a talented group of trades together and was able to work very well with them explaining what we wanted. She always found the time to meet with the trades to go over details on site throughout the project. If there was something that they didn't understand she took the time to ensure they did. She garners respect from the trades because she understands construction and what can be done. I would highly recommend Catherine to anyone and would use her services again in the future.

Catherine did an excellent job on our exterior renovation project. the project involved extensive exterior and roof work to clean up the look of our lakefront home (which had prior additions - the architecture looked off balance, and she helped correct it). We would highly recommend her. thanks Troy
