New Angle Designs

I've worked for New Angle Design 2 times so far. She's a very talented Interior Designer. Her choices of fabric and colors are exceptional. She well adapted to working inside the homeowners theme for their home and offers great suggestions that are unexpected and that others would miss. She's good at not imposing her style on the homeowner, instead she's there to assist the client by working inside the homeowners sense of style and color. This approach produces a unique interior space that reflex the clients wants and needs. Of course if your not sure what your style is and your horrible with colors, she'll work with you and root out the styles and colors that work for you.

I had a very pleasant experience with New Angle design. I had an art show there and Kathy and her team Donna and Lusha hung all the painting, sent out all the advertising, and supplied the goodies for the opening. I can't tell how wonderful New Angle Desighs were to work with!!!

Kathy Coady of New Angle Designs redecorated many rooms in our home and redesigned our home office including built ins and other accoutrements to create a state of the art space. Our dining room has a completely different look, elegant yet not overdone. We have received tremendous compliments on all that she has done. Also, working with Kathy is a pleasure as she uses your personal taste and does not try to push you in directions you do not want to go. Kathy also takes items you already have and moves them around , either to a different place in the room or to a completely different room New Angles!!

I have worked with New Angle Designs on several projects for our home over the past year and half. We had just moved into a new home and we needed the help of a designer to make the best use of our space. Kathy Coady, the principle designer, took the time to talk with my husband and I to get to know us and our lifestyle and expectations. She's a good listener and she came back to us with a few different options as well as helping guide us toward some classic design pieces, window treatments and small design elements such as fabric covered lamp shades that I never would have thought of that transformed our space to a comfortable, classic space that fits with the needs of our visiting family and friends. I have always found Kathy to be available to talk, reliable, decisive and trusted. A delight to work with!

The project involved very little effort on my part and went smoothly and efficiently. She is very responsive to any concerns or questions She evaluated our style and narrowed down the choices so it was not overwhelming. I would highly recommend her company.

Kathy Coady's excellent design background, ideas, end result, and meeting our budget was exceptional. We had a 15 year old leather couch and chair which we hated to get rid of because they were so comfortable and in excellent condition with the exception of the faded leather. She had the couch and chair stained to its original color and refilled the pillows. Along with the other updates she did in our Great Room, the place looks spectacular.

Kathy Coady of New Angle Designs was referred to me by a friend who was also redesigning her living room and who was impressed with the design advice she was receiving from Kathy. I met with Kathy first on a preliminary consult, and shortly thereafter, hired her based on her personable approach. She and her staff were most professional and talented. They took my overall vision of a relaxed, contemporary/traditional look and brought it to fruition. Upon her first walk through during the initial consult visit, she rearranged the room, which immediately highlighted our key furniture piece, a curved couch. This quick change, which would never had occurred to me, nor others who were trying to help me with the dilemma , changed the entire look of the room to add openness, improved access and it made the couch the centerpiece of the arrangement. From there, through her fabric, rug and lighting suggestions, the perfect design and color scheme was completed. I would rehire and recommend her to potential customers.

Kathy Coady is a pleasure to work with and makes a challenging project so much easier. Her sense of color and eye for design turned our master bath renovation into a complete success. She is a good listener and matches her talent to our taste to guide us as to what works well together, blending existing pieces with new choices. She also recommended a good architectural designer/sketcher, worked well with the tile/cabinetry suppliers, and her window treatments were the frosting on the cake.

Kathy Coady and her team at New Angle Designs are consummate professionals with an eye for style, the ability to solve design problems creatively and within budget. It was stress free and I love the completed project.

As an artist, I was impressed with Kathy’s addition to her business by showcasing an artist-of-the-month this past year. Many potential new and existing clients enjoyed a reception each month and viewed a revolving gallery of original art work to choose from. I was featured as the last artist of the season this past June and enjoyed a very successful run. A portion of the proceeds was set aside for a local art student scholarship. Another great idea of Kathy’s!

Kathy designed furniture layouts for several of the rooms in our new house. She also helped us to select the perfect paint colors for our entire house. Beautiful work! She made the process seamless and easy! I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking to freshen up the look of their house or design their new dream home! Thank you Kathy!
