About Us

Award Winning Birdwood Landscape Design specializes in landscape design and construction for residential, commercial properties including DA documentation. Based on the NSW Central Coast we service all parts of the Central Coast, Newcastle / Hunter Region, the North Shore, Northern Beach's and Sydney. Commercial, residential Landscape design to the final completion of the new landscape utilising our key group of trades people whom are all licensed, experienced, insured and qualified in their area of expertise. A great volume of our work originates from past client referrals which indicates our commitment to providing experienced friendly advice, quality work and customer service. Including no insurance claims for poor workmanship over 21 years of trading. Warren (The Owner & Director) brings a wealth of horticultural experience to any size landscaping project as he spent decades working at and with one of the leaders in wholesale semi advanced tree nurseries - the award winning Civic Trees. Together they were involved in much commercial and high end residential landscaping and additionally a tree transplanting division. Warren was involved in the design and/or construction of the following award winning jobs: 2002 – Master Building Association (winner) joint award with MGBS 2003 – ABC Gardening Live Australia (design & construct) joint award with Civic Trees 2003 – ABC Gardening Live Australia (design & construct) joint award with Civic Trees 2003 – Sydney Garden Expo (design & construct display) joint award with Civic Trees 2011 – The Building Designers Australia (building design) 2017 “Best Homes Australia & Amazing Homes “ (landscape design & consult) Warren also had a brief site engineer role with Landscape Solutions PL at the award winning Gosford Waterfront Development for Hunter Development Corporation: National Trust Heritage Awards 2021 -Judges' Choice Award winner National Trust Heritage Awards 2021 - Aboriginal Heritage Award winner (UDIA) Awards for Excellence 2021 - Social and Community Infrastructure winner NSW Premiers Awards 2021 - Quality Local Environments finalist Place Leaders Asia Pacific Awards 2021 - Finalist

Birdwood provided us with a basic design and planting schedule for our native garden on Lake Macquarie. Warren thoughtfully worked with our existing garden to create a cohesive design. We now have a beautiful landscaped yard full of native birds.

We built a new home and Birdwood Landscape Design coordinated quality contractors to do the driveway, paths, decking, fencing and turf. Each contractor did excellent work so there was no stress or concerns throughout the project. If you want to avoid all the stress that comes with finding quality tradesmen (and getting them on site), I highly recommend using Birdwood Landscape Design.
