Blue Ridge Door

The buying process was flawless with help with questions from Brian Dennis of Blue Ridge Door. The delivery was on schedule and the door appeared to be in good shape. Two months after the door was installed the black rubber that holds the glass in place began to let loose in two of the panes. I left voice messages on Mr. Dennis's phone and received no return calls. I sent several followup emails with photos describing the failure of the glass seals. Again no response from anyone at Blue Ridge Door. While the door seems to be of decent quality and the price was good, I would not recommend this company simply based on the lack of followup from the company.

These doors are described as "White Mahogany" but it is really another type of wood. If you had the correct name you could look up the woods properties and determine if it is the type you would want for a front door. The glass in the doors was defective and Mr. Dennis would not respond with replacement glass even though we would take on the labor cost to replace. Work with a professional door supplier in your area that you know and will stand behind the quality of the product delivered.

We ordered a door with sidelights from this company for our new home that we were building. Ordering and delivery were fine. Except that the company was to contact us when the door was being delivered. They did not. Luckily, someone was there when it was delivered. Our door was fine for a couple of months. Then, the black strips in between the pieces of glass began to show. Before long, they ALL were showing. My door looked horrible before we could move into our house. Each day it got worse. We can't fix it because it is between each pane of glass. People were even asking us what is wrong with our door. I contacted Blue Ridge and got little to no response. Be advised...a man named Brian is who you will contact whether you email, call, or use the contact form on the website. After many attempts through all three methods, I got one email in reply. He asked how many panes were affected. I told him that all of them were. Weeks later, new glass and stripping were delivered to us. He never said that he was going to mail anything. Now WE have to pay to get it fixed. This company loves you until they have your money. Then, they ignore you and could care less. BE AWARE!!!!!! The photo that I attached is when the door first began to fall apart from inside of the glass. It got much worse at the days went on. The photo was also taken before our home was complete.

We ordered a door the week before Christmas and it was sitting in our garage two days after Christmas. Brian was so helpful and went above and beyond to make sure everything was in order to be delivered efficiently. The price was unmatched, as well as the service.
