About Us

Cabinet Refresh has been given the Angie's List Super Service Award 3 years in a row. We have served over 2,000 clients in the Los Angeles area ranging from small cabinet refinishing or renewal jobs to major house upgrades in Malibu, Agoura, Westlake Village where we were re-coloring or re-surfacing every wood surface in homes, including garage doors, bathrooms, staircases, window frames, etc. In 2016 we opened a new location in Central Texas. We are excited to offer our award winning service in the Greater Austin area including Georgetown, Round Rock, Cedar Park and surrounding areas. Since refinishing and resurfacing is all we do, we use only the best materials, making sure that they are as non-toxic as possible for the protection of your family, our workers and the environment. Everything we use is considered low or no V.O.C. We work almost exclusively with General Finishes, which has been around for nearly a century. We apply nearly all of our finishes horizontally, when possibly and sprayed with HVLP sprayers and 4 or 4 stage turbines, and dried on horizontal drying racks. This is how our quality stands out from the rest.

My wife and I recently renovated our kitchen, and were torn between replacing our cabinets vs. refinishing them. Refinishing is obviously more affordable, but our fear was that it would look "low budget" and we wouldn't be pleased with the final product. After meeting with Scott and getting an estimate, we decided to give cabinet refresh a try. WE COULD NOT BE HAPPIER. The product is extremely high quality, and the cabinets (we went from honey-oak to white) look amazing! The crew was courteous and professional, and they fully tented the kitchen and work area so there was virtually no dust or anything in any other areas of the home. After the job was complete, we called and asked them to come back and look at a couple of doors that didn't seem to be closing quite right, and they did so right away and made sure we were happy with the end result. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again... but I only have one kitchen! You won't be sorry if you go with these guys!

Cabinet Refreshed knocked it out of the park. They did a fantastic job renovating my master bathroom. First, the communication through phone calls, emails was fast. They came to our home for estimate on time and it was quick and easy. They accommodated my schedule for the painting. The staff that came was professional, worked around my family, worked and somehow was able paint the cabinet outdoors beautifully despite high winds. The installation, including adding handles was fast. I could not be happier and surprised how affordable and the quality of the finish and work done. I would use Cabinet Refresh for any future refacing.

Cabinet Refresh did an excellent job refinishing our kitchen cabinets, and the crew was very professional and courteous. The job started on time, finished on time, and the clean-up was impeccable. Everyone who walks into our "new" kitchen says how great it looks. The cabinets had looked old and tired, with peeling finish, water damage... but now they look lustrous with a matte finish over several coats of pearl gray paint and have completely transformed the kitchen. The price quoted by Cabinet Refresh was a few hundred dollars more than the several other bids we received, but it was totally worth it because of the quality of the work and the experience of dealing with the company. There were nothing but good surprises with Cabinet Refresh!

We hired Cabinet Refresh to help us with our kitchen reno in a 1960s house in Los Angeles. We wanted to keep our solid wood cabinets but hated the orange oak color that was used in the 90s kitchen reno done prior to us purchasing our home. Cabinet Refresh worked fast and efficiently to refinish our cabinets, paint them white, and install our new hardware. It transformed the look of our kitchen and was a small percentage of the cost of new cabinets. Cabinet Refresh did a great job repainting my white kitchen cabinets. My original contractor did a poor job when I custom ordered cabinets from his guys. The paint began to chip within a year of installation. I finally called Cabinet Refresh to redo all my kitchen cabinets as the paint was now chipping all over. I couldn’t stand looking at them anymore. Scott is very professional and responsive. His workers were very efficient and courteous. Many contractor types I’ve worked with in the past aren’t as good at getting back to their customers. Scott and his guys came back a couple times to do touch ups and fix some of the drawers. My kitchen now looks great and I’m not embarrassed when I have guests over. I am very satisfied with Cabinet Refresh’s customer service. I’d definitely recommend them to my friends.

It was a major project and they were efficient, very professional, and the end product is top quality. We did both painting and staining and they came out even better than we hoped. Scott and his team did an excellent job on my kitchen cabinets. Who knew just changing the colors of the cabinets would totally transform my kitchen! My outdated kitchen has been instantly updated and it looks beautiful. Scott has a good eye and made some simple suggestions that made a difference. The crew came in promptly, did their thing, cleaned up and finished in 4 days as promised. I'm already thinking of hiring them to paint my bathroom cabinets too!
