About Us

Realizing the change needed in a home when a client goes through a personal transition due to a divorce, remarriage, birth in the family, a death, or empty nest syndrome, prompted her to pay close attention to the needs of her client during their transitions. She helps them transition their belongings and their homes into their new future. "Design is a lifestyle choice that is both affordable and approachable. A good design helps position a person to better deal with their transitions." Lifestyle transitions happen to all of us sooner or later, and it is important to use a designer who understands how to make the environment work around those changes. Cheryl Draa Interior Designs has been in business for over 20 years and won numerous design awards. The design studio has been an added benefit in the last several years, allowing conception of a design to become a reality. In-home consultations are available for an hourly charge.

The last help Cheryl gave us was terrific! She picked out sofa and foot stool fabrics to blend with what else we had in the room. It made a much more updated look. We are very pleased.

I never do any decorating/painting/purchasing of furniture and/or accent pieces in our house without the help of Cheryl Draa. We have been working with her since 1992. She listens to what we have to say and presents us with many options. She's the best!

Cheryl Draa is an amazing designer! She is my go to person anytime I am facing a new project. I first hired her 8 years ago when I sought input creating office space to run my psychotherapy practice. I told her the effect I wanted to create. She made several suggestions from color, furniture choice, and texture to help me create the warm safe environment so important to the space. Again, I hired her to help me create a specific feel I was seeking in the home I recently transitioned to. Its so exciting to go from a house to a home that represents me and a new phase of life. Thank you Cheryl. I recommend her without hesitation!

I have know Cheryl now for over two years, and have referred her to many of my closest friends and family. when I say she does an outstanding job, she does! Many people would not work with some of my family members, but she listened to exactly what they wanted and guided them through a total house remodel. Everything looks great and the return on investment was well worth it. My wife and I also had Cheryl come over for a color consult and furniture assessment. She turned our house into an organized great looking home in just a few hours. I would recommend her to anyone.

Cheryl Draa helped us to update our tired 15 year old kitchen into what's now our favorite room in the house! We didn't really know what look we wanted but we knew how we wanted it to feel. Cheryl listened and asked lots of questions and presented several ideas for us to consider-all within our budget. Honestly we followed every step of her advice. After a brief experiment with a wall color I thought would look best, we repainted with the color she recommended and it is perfect! I highly recommend Cheryl Draa Design.

I really enjoyed working with Cheryl. I let her know what areas of my home I wanted to re-decorate, we walked through the areas and she asked me questions to gather information on whether I had ideas for the space or fully wanted recommendations from her. I went with her color suggestions for paint and her design suggestions for my rooms and am very pleased with the end result. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a new design for your space.

Cheryl must have been born to be a home decorator because she knows form and function and color so well. Plus she's passionate about her profession and has perfected her artistic craft. I worked with her 10 years ago on our new house, and now we are building a new one in the mountains and she's helping guide the development again. I'm very pleased with her skills and interest in listening to my input as well, to create a unique environment that suits our family.

Cheryl goes above and beyond for her clients. I have been working with Cheryl for 8 years and 2 different condos. She is amazingly creative in placing your current pieces in just the right place and grouping, teaching you "DIY" projects to compliment your home as well as making suggestions for new purchases to complete your home! She respects your style and preferences and follows through with all commitments. She is creative, fun, and personable. She also is willing to teach you on basic designing techniques and she is a mentor to young design students. Cheryl is extremely talented and a true partner in making your house a home!
