George and TB have done several jobs around my 2 flat in Logan Square and have always given me great timely service with total attention to detail and great guidance and design suggestions when needed. They work with me to find solutions and are always courteous, professional, thorough and reasonably priced. They have surprised me several times by doing little extras that make the work better, more efficient and safer. They are truly talented and have done a variety of jobs: gangway ceiling installation, motion sensor light addition, cleaning and sealing a treated wood 2 story porch, painting many areas around the flat, trouble shooting a wiring issue in a light fixture, installation of a new water heater, removal of old metal fence posts, repair of vinyl siding. George even gave me valuable advice regarding repairs to make/or not make prior to listing the flat for sale. I appreciate Urban Built and keep its phone number on my refrigerator at all times. It is my "go to" repair and renovate company.

Urban Built was recommended to me for the quality and expertise of their work. Having looked at photos of some of their completed projects, I was excited to meet with them and discuss the renovations for our newly acquired Portage Park bungalow. They listened to our needs and desires and walked us through each area of work offering options and suggestions as to the various ways to achieve our goals. Once finalized, Urban Built started immediately on our home renovation. Each day their work proceeded with an impeccable eye for detail and professionalism. I was happy to receive photos of completed tasks and projects. Always I felt that not only were they working to my high degree of expectations but also to their high degree of professional perfection. What may have been most helpful and most important to me is that when potential problems arose they were on top of options that would solve dilemmas and were in constant contact with my wife and me as to how to proceed. When all was said and done , the transformation of what was once just an idea or vision was in fact a home that transcended my expectations.

It is so hard to find a contractor these days-someone that is honest, timely, collaborative, creative. Well, luckily this company is just that. They did what it took to complete a job in a short time frame and did it beautifully. They are brothers and both such nice guys. And besides competency and cost, this is an important quality in hiring a team that will be spending time in your home. I enjoyed working with them and am happy with the work they did. So happy in fact that I am hiring them again for a kitchen remodel.

We had an all around excellent experience working with this company. We commissioned them to remodel our bathroom that began with a matching green tub and toilet. Our original shower/tub had a low ceiling, old tiles and leaked. Urban built worked quickly and they were professional! Our bathroom was updated from top to bottom at more than fair pricing!
