About Us

Craft-Bilt is a Canadian manufacturer of sunrooms, solariums, patio covers, carports, railing, decking, and retractable shade products like awnings, canopies, and motorized screens. Craft-Bilt is known as a quality manufacturer, consistently designing products that exceed the industry standard. We serve contractors and DIY'ers all of Canada from our 40,000 square foot factory in Ajax, Ontario just east of Toronto. Visitors are welcome to our factory showroom. We have been in business for over 25 years. There is a related company in Pennsylvania called Craft-Bilt Mfg. Co. that has a 214,000 sq ft factory, a family business over 70 years old.

Excellent product. Each piece was perfect! Nice tight fit. Amazing packaging, 12' pallet arrived without a scrape- from Ontario to Victoria! Easy to order, sales lady was quick with quotes and answers to my questions. Thanks!

The decking material is great easy to install Highly recommend this product Decking was well packaged We could have used some additional 11/2” screws as our joists were 16” on center

Craft-Bilt was great to deal with. Quick responses to questions and good advice on shipping alternatives. The material arrived as per estimated schedule. The company also followed up with a phone call to check that all material had arrived and that we were satisfied with the items. I would definitely recommend them as a supplier.

Very nice and knowledgeable people to talk to. I was well informed and they answered all my questions. Excellent fabrication and material: 18 ft retractable awning, model 4 - full cassette / Manor X 11'6". Well packaged for shipping, nothing missing and received on time. Was installed by a professional only 2 weeks ago (mid-Oct.) and hasn't been used other than verification. Real test will be next summer but up to now, deserve 5 stars.

Sunroom 4 track stacking windows

Quality of material and workmanship of the sunroom windows is excellent. Due to supply chain issues the order took a long time to complete. The online check on order status is a nice feature but it lacked frequent enough updates were the Staus was not updated to delayed until 1 to 2 prior to last status shipment date. It makes it difficult to schedule contractors for install, if it weren’t for this it would have a 5 star rating Installed and looks great

The windows look great in the 3 season room. They were easy to install and should be durable. They were reasonably priced though the 16 week lead time was a bit long

I bought a 12 feet retractable awning from Craft-Built two month ago. I researched the company and product on line and went to their office in Ajax where I got all the explanations I needed to to confirm my selection. The sales person was very helpful, not pushy, understood the location and our needs and tone me down with accessories not required. The awning was ready before the promise date. I did not install it yet. I will do it in spring and update this comment at that time. Overall i had a very good experience with Craft Built.

April 2023 road access closed still need glass

Had 70 ft perrimitter deck rails , like products , instructions hard to follow as not spicific to one single still but multiple sized systems that are railing but dimensions are different. Results excellent, more detail , like shim say with washers to plum posts , call back on questions was excellent, Thank you for all of Craft Built in creditable patience, front counter to loading dock great . Thanks

We upgraded our enclosed patio with the Craft-Bilt 4 track stacking windows. We live outside the GTA and took this project on ourselves. The entire process, from visiting the showroom to place our order, picking up the windows from their manufacturing facility and installing the windows ourself was a stress free experience. The Craft-Bilt staff are very professional and knowledgeable about their product. The windows are very well designed, attractive and they have greatly improved the functionally and appearance of our sunroom. Installation was a breeze, it took us about an hour for each window. I wish we had discovered these windows years ago.
