About Us

"Authorized JELD-WEN Windows & Doors Dealer" Davis-Hawn Lumber Co. is a full-service lumberyard, hardware store, and mill, serving Oak Cliff and the Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex since 1923. We are celebrating 95 years! Native Dallasite, Dave Reichert, joined the company in 1999 and is continuing its tradition of old-fashioned service and quality for today’s custom builders and remodelers. Meeting the specific needs of custom home builders, remodelers and architects. Specializing in doors, windows, radius millwork & CNC, custom mouldings, sidings and lumber of course. I would not recommend Davis-Hawn for your lumber. We had a big job, which was quoted 2-3 months before delivery, and the invoices came in 40% higher than the quote. As you can imagine, the tremendous overage impacts all other decisions on your house project. A purported sophisticated organization would have planned better. There are other lumber companies in Dallas. Please feel free to reach out to me for additional information.

Great material, knowledgeable workers, huge selection and great service! Also - honest as the day is long. Can't recommend this supplier more highly.
