We worked with Debby and her crew this year to do a complete renovation of our kitchen and powder room in our Capitol Hill house. She was wonderful from start to finish. Debby is a pleasure to work with. She has managed to transform our 1990's traditional looking house into a beautiful transitional look with a coastal vibe. Debby's guidance has been spot on and her taste is impeccable. We appreciate her low key, non pushy approach. She listens to what we are looking for, but will "diplomatically" offer other suggestions if she thinks certain things will not work with the vibe of our house. She is also very resourceful and knows how and where to find things.

A couple of years ago, we bought a house that was a different style and size from our previous house. So, we basically needed to start from scratch and make it look nice, which my husband and I weren't capable of doing. We hired Debby, who worked with us for 18 months, to help us rethink every design element from wall coverings/paint, lighting, builtins, an updated kitchen, flooring, furniture, art, bedding, and décor. Our house is open concept and Debby was conscious of all of the sight lines, so everything works together. She is a delight to work with. Smart and creative, with clear communication and a respect for budget. She often saved us from things we thought we wanted but really would have been awful and was very tactful in conveying it. She has a network of contractors and managed every aspect of the delivery and installation, so that minimized the disruption to our lives, which was a level of customer service that we very much appreciated.

After months of trying to find the perfect couch on my own without success, I became familiar with Debby and DC Interiors. She not only helped to find the perfect couch for our family room; she helped to redesign the entire room. Since then, she has also helped to update my kitchen and re-invent my powder room.
