When we needed new drapes for our family room, I searched online and found Drapery Designs’ website. After reading the glowing reviews, I went to the shop and met with Dao. I showed her photos of my old drapes and the colors in wrong. She pulled out several fabric books and I quickly found the perfect fabric. When the drapes arrived and were installed, they were even more beautiful than we expected. When we couldn’t find a new rod similar to our existing one that matches the color of the walls, Dao worked to restring our old rod. All-in-all, Drapery Designs far exceeded our expectations and Dao was a delight to work with.

Dao is absolutely the best! She has style and an incredible eye for what an elegant window treatment should look like. Dao has recently completed several different projects for me which have truly beautified my home. We had older curtains in the library which she expertly adjusted to render more updated. She has made new curtains for my living room and stairway landing. With the landing, she recommended a shear and it has been a great choice as the beauty of the light filtering in has made my days brighter. In the larger bathroom, she has made curtains that remind me of clouds and when the light shines through, the effect is stunning. The design work, the sewing and the installation were impeccable. I really recommend Dao and her team.

I have used Drapery Designs for two separate projects and both times they did an excellent job. Most recently I used them for drapery panels for a sliding glass door and a valence for a dining room window. Dao was very helpful in suggesting ideas for how the panels could be installed without interfering with the blinds that were already in place. The workmanship and installation of the final product was excellent and done with care. Both the panels and the valence look beautiful! I wouldn't hesitate to use Drapery Designs for any future drapery needs.

I should start this off by saying that my wife is an artist. So she is very picky about colors and how they go together. We found Drapery Designs online when we started looking for a local place to do our drapes. We stopped by and spent a couple of hours with Miss Dao Zhou who was extremely knowledgeable about colors and fabrics. So she and my wife were able to narrow down exactly what we needed. Miss Zhou then stopped by a couple of days later and she and my wife spent hours picking out the exact colors and fabrics for each room and designing exactly how the drapes should be built. We also got a bed cover and some pillows. About three weeks later Miss Zhow and a helper came by and in a couple of hours installed the drapes. Not to mention that she steamed out every small wrinkle. My wife could not be happier. They accomplish exactly what she wanted in all three rooms. I am also impressed on how much that they add to the rooms. I would highly recommend Drapery Designs to anyone that wants a professional job by someone that is an expert in colors and fabrics. A highly satisfied customer!!

Doa was rude and unfriendly during our appointment. She rushed the appointment and spent her time clicking on her calculator rather than getting to understand my project needs. She quoted me $9,000 for drapes and I didn’t have hardware or fabric selected. The quote meant nothing because nothing was designed or selected. At one point I asked for more fabric options and she told me that she didn’t want to get out of her seat again to get more fabric books. When I asked her about hardware finishes she told me that they didn’t matter and she didn’t have anything to show me besides one brass rod. When I left I saw plenty of hardware finishes on display. I was very disappointed and I felt like she treated me like an ATM machine rather than a client with a need for services that she provided.

Very good service in April / May 2017 . Imperfections that could be corrected : Being a truly expensive product , the invoice for the second half of the total price issued a few days before installation of drapes should not have had a clause indicating that " final price may exceed estimate due to unforeseen labor costs " . Not to my liking .

I needed a pair of drapery panels for a room recently redecorated and asked Drapery Designs to do the work for me. They were helpful and knowledgeable when it came to choosing fabric, rod, finial, etc. Their workmanship is flawless and the result it exactly as I hoped it would be. I would not hesitate to re commend them and would use them again myself.
