Amazing results! Very easy to work with Dave and his team for scheduling, selection of materials and completing the project. His team was fast, efficient and very attention detailed during the work. Great follow up regarding maintenance to keep our new floor looking awesome.

We were looking for a reasonably priced, eco friendly flooring for our basement with a mid century look. After ruling out Marmoleum (expense) I was trying to decide between an LVT tile or the epoxy flake floor. I had seen it done before in a basement and thought it was really nice. When I found out I could customize the colors and add glitter for a small additional cost I was in. The Alternative Surface solution has proven to be perfect. Erin was very thorough in explaining the process, the workers were fast and did a really nice job. The guys even came back the next day to do one more pass with the buffer without being asked because the surface was a little rough from some of the glitter flakes that were sticking up. The only drawback was that I did not request they seal up the opening to my studio which did end up getting covered in concrete dust. I'd advise anyone having this process done in doors to do so. Also - don't be in the house during the process - very loud and the epoxy smell is intense. The photos don't do it justice - much prettier in person.

I reached out to Dave Zell to have my garage floor done, and while it wasn't the cheapest, it was definitely the best option. The floor turned out perfect, the finish is the highest quality I've ever seen on a garage floor, he was processional and always on time with his follow-up, and I would highly recommend him.

Alternative Surfaces redid our 3 car garage. The results are outstanding. We couldn't have asked for a better outcome. The workers were very professional and careful throughout the project which only took about 6 hours to achieve the amazing results. Their attention to detail during the preparation of the floor (filling cracks and sanding) before applying the new surface paid big dividends in the look and quality of the final results. We would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to improve the presentation and usefulness of their garage. It has been a few months since we had it done and the ease of cleaning the floor of the water, mud and crud that comes from the car tires are easily just swept away when dry. I have also dropped some heavy tools and such and there is no sign of any damage. As a woodturner, I often make a big mess during the day but now greatly appreciate the ability to cleanup with ease when I'm done. We love the final results!

This company did a GREAT job on my garage floor!! Dave came and gave us an estimate that I felt was reasonable. A few days later two of his crew came to do the floor, they were on time and very professional. They completed the job when they said they would and when they left the floor was BEAUTIFUL! And No mess for us to clean up. I would recommend this company to anyone, I only wish we would have had this done sooner!!! Thanks guys!
