We live on direct waterfront property, therefore are inundated with a host of weather problems, from nor’easters to hurricanes. A roof is critical to our safety. Additionally, we demand it be aesthetically pleasing to the eye. We knew the shingles we wanted. They are top of the line, but unfortunately, are extremely difficult to work with due to their weight and size. We needed a professional, in every sense of the word, to install them. After deep research and interviews , we decided to use Connecticut Roofcrafters. We worked with Michael Young, whose communication skills were prompt and informative. Ask a question, we got an answer from Micheal in record time. In a period of global shortages of products, Michael was relentless in securing everything we wanted for our project. It wasn’t easy but Michael was up for the task. The Connecticut Roofcrafters team was awesome. Not a word to be used lightly. They were punctual , knowledgeable and hardworking. Each member on the team knew his job. They worked in unison making the project seamless. We did our homework in selecting Connecticut Roofcrafters. We are the big winners. Michael and his whole team are a class act.

We had our roof redone for the first time and I'm very happy with the results. Michael was very professional and patient in helping me through the whole process and addressing problem areas of our particular roof. His crew was very friendly, clean (did a great job in cleaning up during and after the installation), and efficient in completing the project. We had a little hiccup in waiting for the second batch of shingles to arrive but everything was handled very well from A to Z. We love our new beautiful roof and I have full confidence in recommending Connecticut Roofcrafters!

We had our roof replaced in the winter/spring of 2021. Due to the weather, covid, and some other issues, the project got started later and took longer than expected, but Michael and his team did an excellent job. Our house presented some challenges and Michael quickly problem-solved when necessary. We now have a metal roof along with an area of EPDM on a flat part of our roof. Michael recommended the metal roof, which we had looked into and hoped for, but we'd had trouble finding a company who would be able to install metal on our low pitch roof, for a reasonable price. We are so happy with our roof! We also got new skylights which we love. The roof looks great, is extremely low maintenance, we don't expect to have to replace it in our lifetime, and we've had no problems in the 14 months since it's been installed. No more leaks, no more carpenter ants, happy homeowners!

Michael was a pleasure to work with. He was very prompt and professional with his estimate. Once we signed the contract, he quickly started the work and it was completed in a timely way. The crew were very hard working and very nice. The roof - a cedar shake roof, looks fantastic. We got a great warranty and the quality is very high -- much better than our previous roof. We are very pleased.

Mike is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to less conventional residential roofing. Ours is a flat roof contemporary that required a commercial grade material. He recommended EPDM and it has been fantastic. The project was quoted and executed in a very timely fashion. His guys were true professionals and the teamwork was impressive to watch. Connecticut Roofcrafters has a wealth of experience in many different materials and styles of architecture that made them the only choice for us.

Michael and the whole team at CT Roofcrafters did a beautiful job on our roof replacement. We had one leak happen during a rainstorm in the middle of the replacement and Michael immediately managed the issue and repaired everything within days. The way he handled the situation is exactly how you would want issues to be dealt with. I would recommend them wholeheartedly.
