I was in deliberations with Henry for construction of a French Provincial home in Sydney. Although I went ahead with another builder, I was mighty impressed with Henry's past work and insight into the business. He took great pains in explaining how the construction industry works and extremely candid on the potential pitfalls I should be aware of. His quote for my project was extremely economical and I would have happily signed up with him. However, the model of financing he currently requires was not acceptable to the banks who were after a fixed price contract. Given the feedback I have seen elsewhere on this page, it isnt a surprise that Henry would prefer to play safe and keep any discordance with the clients to a minimum. Nevertheless, for those who can afford it, I would encourage them to consider Fairlight.
