I contacted Frank from FDC Bulding Designs with little knowledge in the field. He was soo patient and walked me through every single detail of what was needed for the project in mind. He was also generous enough to review the plans and give suggestions. I could not have hoped for a better service. Regretfully, I could not go ahead with the plan due to budget reasons, but otherwise I was absolutely lucky to deal with Frank and FDC Bulding Designs.

Frank has been brilliant to deal with and I couldn't recommend him highly enough. His drawings for our swim spa are great, and he has no problems making any changes we have asked. Cant thank him enough for all his work.

FDC provided a fantastic service through the whole process. The drawings required minor updates as requested by council for approval and Frank completed the updates and sent back on the same day which was greatly appreciated. I also required the drawings in PDF to send through to building surveyor and they were immediately sent through by Emilia. Very satisfied and I would recommend to anyone.

FDC - Frank, prepared plans for my existing timber deck (88m2) and produced a excellent set of drawings which are now being used for production of the required engineering. Franks prompt and courteous service is second to none and he has a very deep understanding of his profession. Frank was able to make construction suggestions that we had not considered previously and have decided to proceed with. I would recommend FDC and Frank to anyone requiring construction drawings of a high and detailed standard.

Commented: Final walk throughif you're in Victoria, Google 'guide to standards and tolerances'. this manual outlines exactly what to look out for.

Commented: Pitched V's gabel roof for car port?How about a mix between the 2. I would personally go for the hipped roof however you may want to consider adding a dutch gable to top of roof for that little bit of feature work.
