I had the pleasure of engaging Vanja to help with a kitchen renovation project for a home in Vancouver. Owing to international flight restrictions during Covid I was unable to be physically on site in Vancouver to oversee the project and to select design materials from local vendors. Vanja was extremely helpful, even as she consulted with me remotely from her home in Ottawa. She was invaluable in providing insight on counter tops, tiling, lighting, flooring and how to make the overall kitchen design look modern and timeless. I was pleased with the result and must say it's better to consult with a design professional before the renovation process so that you are happy with the end result. I'm not a full time designer by any stretch, so it was important to tap the knowledge of someone who had instant answers to complex problems and could help me avoid the hangover of a poor design that I'd have to live with until I could afford another go. Vanja has worked with us on several projects now. The first project involved re-designing the exterior of our home. She helped us choose the elements and the colours. More recently, she helped us design (colours, furniture, custom built-ins and furniture) the main floor of a house we bought in 2017. She's responsive, knowledgeable, considerate, funny, and kind. She really listens when you explain your vision and preferences and knows how to work within a budget. I love working with Vanja and I hope to continue to do so for years to come.

We hired Vanja with Flawless Space to provide an in-home paint colour consultation for the new home we purchased recently. In terms of scheduling and preparation for the meeting, communication with Vanja was clear and prompt. The colour selection process with Vanja was enjoyable and not at all stressful. Vanja was professional and came prepared for the project with photos for ideas, and had actually "researched" our home to get a head start on recommendations. Vanja brought extra large paint sample sheets, which made selecting colours much easier than previous experiences. She guided us in selecting a cohesive palette for the entire house that ended up transforming the look and feel from dated and boring to warm, modern, and interesting. We would definitely hire Flawless Space again for future design projects!

Hello out there. I am posting this comment because I have been most impressed with the support and encouragement Vanja Jovanovic has given my wife and me during our ongoing major house renovations. Vanja had already met with us in our home for over an hour (on a Saturday afternoon!) to discuss color schemes for the walls on all three levels of our house. When we decided to purchase a new sofa for our rec room downstairs we thought we might have to change the color we had initially decided upon. We called Vanja to tell her of our impending purchase. She immediately offered to drive across the city to meet with us at the store to make sure we had the best color choices for the sofa and for our walls. This kind of commitment and support is rare and my wife and I really appreciated her efforts to help us. Well done, Vanja!

I asked Vanja in to do a colour consultation, and ended up getting her DIY service as well. She was a pleasure to deal with, and she went above and beyond my expectations, planning out two different options and answering all my questions along the way.

I hired Vanja for a color consult and for planning room decor. I was extremely happy with all the colors she chose and the details included in her room design. Overall I would highly recommend her and I have hired her again to plan the decor in the basement after the first consult. She met all timelines and was very reasonably priced.

You get everything you need to be your own designer: floor plan, furniture, accessories, window treatments, paint colours, 3D photos of your “new” room and detailed instruction sheets. I have learned from working with Vanja that just a few hours of her time is enough to make a big difference to the look of my home. We hired Vanja over a year ago to help us pick out paint colours for our kitchen, dining room, living room and entryway. She also gave us advice on picture arrangements for our walls. What a difference it made: When we put up the new paint and rearranged our pictures, we liked the results so much that we hired her again a year later to give me advice on my new home office. Before starting any renovations on my townhouse, I hired Vanya to do a colour consult. I really like the colours she helped me select, and her design recommendations were excellent. She recommended I paint the ceiling the same colour as the walls in my small bathroom, and it looks awesome!

Vanja was very considerate of our personal taste and worked with us to build a color palette that we loved. She used large paint samples (8x11 inches in size) during her consultation. This allowed us to visualize how the interior of the house would look and proved to be much more effective than the smaller paint chips one can find at a store. She found exactly the right balance between working with our preferences and opening our minds to shades of colors that worked even better than what we’d originally envisioned.
