Quality Upholstery

I asked Fred to my home to give my a price to re upholster my sleeper love seat after seeing his name on Houzz. Pleasant guy with a very nice fabric choice and talked a got story. He gave me a quote of $1287.21 and it would be ready in about 10 days. Great I thought! After 10 days I asked Fred when my love seat would be delivered as I was going on vacation. He said that he had to order more fabric and it would be a few more days. It was delivered the day before my vacation and I was very disappointed. First the fabric is not centered on the front of the love seat and the back has a strip of plain fabric running down the edge. When I mentioned the back he said that the fabric was not wide enough. Well I know enough to know that you should center the fabric and put equal amounts on both ends. To make matters worse the price went up to $1372.00 for extra fabric. I was very up set and and decided never to rely on Houzz again. I tried to write a revue when I came back from vacation but the web site was not easy to follow. At last I am pleased to write and say never use Quality Upholstery or believe the quote from Fred.
