We remodeled three bathrooms and a bedroom with Bruce. The bedroom was supposed to have a big additional window, but apparently Bruce forgot about it even though it was on the plans. So we don’t have that window. The entire reason we did the remodel was for that window, so it’s very odd that Bruce forgot about it. We did this remodel in 2014, but I’m writing today because when I see how many of the glass tiles are broken in the shower it makes me angry. We paid for all this beautiful work, but it was clearly put in incorrectly, so now all of these tiles are broken because they must’ve been put in without a substantial backing. I do not recommend this man. We had so many issues with him which we made him aware of at the time we were hiring him. That didn’t make a difference. I recommend Mike Wynn of BMW Builders. We have done two remodels with him. If you want a quality job, that’s who you should go with.

WOW. We had an amazing experience and as many of you know, finding great painters and handymen are very tough. I had a great interaction. Ted is professional, prompt, neat and conversational. We brainstormed on several aspects of the business and he actually recommended that we not do a piece of our scope. Not because he couldn't do the work but he felt it was unnecessary and a waste of money. When was the last time that a contractor recommended you not pay them? Thank you so much for a great interaction. We will be seeing you again. For everyone out there, is someone that is priced competitively, does great work, is very user friendly, and has great people. I am a 5 thumbs up!

Ted Hawkins at Hawkins Painting and Woodwork is our go-to guy for home projects. We've hired Ted for several projects over many years; for exterior painting for our home and our attached neighbor's home, for interior painting, to create a linen closet out of an empty space in our wall, to modify bookshelves (by turning two large bookshelves into 4 smaller bookshelves - and make them look like they were originally created that way), to install new baseboards and cabinet doors. Ted's rates are always reasonable, he's quick to complete the job, and he leaves your home clean and neat when he's done. I like that he is local too. We recommend Ted for all painting and woodworking jobs!

Boswell Building solutions has successfully completed a very difficult project in my home. For months Bruce tackled issues one by one, most of which were not fun or exciting, just plain difficult. He jumped in, got the job done, and did it without a huge ego but instead tremendous compassion for what I, the home owner, was going through. Bruce Boswell is a man of the highest integrity who not only has contracting expertise, honesty, and great communication skills; he has a heart. Bruce cares about his work like people used to in days gone by. I have been involved in many projects over the years and have had more than my share of challenging situations. I honestly don't think I would put myself through it again unless he would agree to take on the project. My experience with Bruce Boswell and Boswell Building Solutions has been as good as it gets.

After meeting with five contractors and not ever getting a response back, I was so happy when Bruce Boswell came through the door. He worked within my budget and had many creative solutions . He turned my Garage into an amazing living space ! All of his team were extremely professional. My husband who was against the project in the first place is now giving tours of our new garage to everyone who walks by our house. Bruce's kind deposition and professional attitude is truly rare. In his role as General Contractor, Bruce also became our project manager, overseeing daily operations while always available for design conversation, on-site decisions, and general problem solving. He was willing to research any bizarre request we made (there were several!) and was able to gently guide us through some difficult permit situations. His commitment to us was far beyond the demands of the project scope. Bruce would be an amazing asset to any endeavor, with his good eye and work ethic he treats every project like a career. He takes great pride in what he builds and it shows both in the process and in the results. He has returned to our home countless times after completion just to discuss a detail or install a shelf. I am looking for a new construction project just so that we can work with him again, and I have recommended him to every friend.

I have hired Hawkins Painting and Woodwork to do all the painting on my house for the last several years, both interior and exterior. The last project Ted did was to paint the exterior of my home. The attention to detail, cleanliness of the work and crew were exceptional. I would not use another painter to work on my home.

Boswell Building Solutions did a wonderful job completely renovating/transforming an old beach house into a beautiful modern home for my family. Bruce Boswell is extremely organized, easy to work with, trustworthy and a terrrific problem solver! Our project came in under budget and on time and i can not say enough good things about Bruce and his team...they always went above and beyond my expectations!!

Boswell Building Solutions came in and finished a job that another contractor had abandoned. Bruce was wonderful to work with. He installed a kitchen, windows, a sliding door and also did small touch up jobs that the previous contractor didn't complete. His fee was very reasonable. His company was very professional, considerate, thorough and reliable. After such a negative experience with our previous contractor, It was a huge relief to work with someone that you could trust and that would honor his estimate and timeline. It was great to finally have the project finished!!

Bruce was a delight to work with. I interviewed 3 people to do my kitchen remodel, gave them all the same information of my basic idea, and he took it and hands down created the best design, which was way beyond what I could have expected. He stayed within the budget he originally stated, and anything that changed he talked to me about right away. His worker James was a delight, and we looked forward to chatting with him during the day, but he was still professional and hard working and got the job done on time. My kitchen turned out amazing! I'm so happy with it!
