Tom and Dawn Wotton and the whole team of HSHI were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Ours was an extensive renovation of a home built in the 1950's. The kitchen and bathrooms were gutted and a main floor master bedroom was added. While older homes can have their challenges, they were always calm and worked out a solution. Dawn was especially helpful in researching all the many choices I had to make from flooring, lighting, countertops, hardware, etc. We are thrilled with the quality and craftmanship in our home and would highly recommend the whole HSHI team!

Home Sweet Home Improvements LLC remodeled our master bathroom in the spring/summer 2019. Everything was excellent from the initial consultation with the owner until the final walk through. The owner came up with a bathroom design for us that we did not even think was possible and changed the entire look of the bathroom. Small problems that surfaced during remodeling were quickly resolved. Home Sweet Home was extremely respectful of our time and our home, making sure floors were covered from our front door all the way into the bathroom in the back of the house. Tom and the Home Sweet Home Improvements team remodeled our thirty year-old kitchen/family room into an integrated open concept space. The project required a floor to ceiling renovation that presented the usual unforeseen issues when you start to open up and remove walls. Each step of the way there were discussions and meetings to make sure that any and all obstacles were dealt with in a professional and courteous manner. The result was an outstanding renovation. Tom and Dawn walked us through the planning and design phase and were upfront and accurate on the time table for completion. We are very pleased with the results and feel like our house is now our forever home. When we started the project, like many people, we worried about who we might be dealing with. We did our research and after our initial meeting with Tom we knew HSHI was that way to go. Our new kitchen/gathering room looks fantastic and has improved the functionality of the space. We were nervous about selecting a contractor for our kitchen/bathroom remodeling project. It is a big money investment and we were concerned about contractors that overpromise and underdeliver. We read reviews where deadlines were missed and work was shoddy. We did extensive research reviewing licensing, better business bureau complaints, word of mouth and internet reviews. We selected Home Sweet Home for their clean record and longevity in the business. They delivered on time, on budget and a beautiful, custom result. I could go on and on but the bottom line is that we recommend them without reservation.

Home Sweet Home renovated our kitchen three years ago and we love it just as much today as the day it was completed. Tom took my sketches and turned them into reality. John's management of the project was extremely professional and the quality of his work is superb. HSH was also able to deal with the structural issues and quirks that go along with working on an old house. We were so pleased with their work that we had them back this spring to refresh our tired, dated bathroom. Again they solved issues related to the oddities of an old house and completed another quality project exactly how we wanted.

Home Sweet Home Improvements did an extensive kitchen renovation and expansion, as well as a number of smaller projects for us. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the results. Portions of a large tree fell on the roof and side of our house in January 2017 causing water damage in the second floor and damage to the exterior finish. We live in a home built in 1927 with old oak floors, lath and plaster walls and stucco exterior. While most home improvement companies would have used standard wall board to cover the damaged areas, Home Sweet Home brought in a team of restoration experts that fixed our interior walls, redid our oak floors and repaired our exterior stucco.

We were extremely pleased with HSHI throughout the entire process for our kitchen remodel/addition. Tom and Dawn walked us through every step along the way and helped us with the many choices we needed to make and to stay on budget. We were very impressed by the quality of their work, both by the HSHI project lead and employees as well as all of their subcontractors. They were all very skilled at their trade, but also very courteous, cooperative and professional at all times. We would definitely use them again for any of our remodeling needs.

My wife and I are so very pleased with the quality of work from Home Sweet Home, and the new kitchen that we now have. All of the workers were exceptionally professional, courteous, and timely. I would add that due in part to the Lead Carpenter's suggestions, our kitchen exceeded our expectations. At the end of each work day, they left our home as clean as can be expected for a construction area. I am so happy that I hired Home Sweet Home for my project, and would not hesitate to hire them for any future projects.
