We hired Hopedale to complete a full renovation of our house. Large project scope (at least for us!). Would highly recommend Hopedale to anyone looking to do something similar. They completed our project on-time and on-budget. Quality of work is excellent. Made sure all the punch-list items at end of the project got resolved. Brett Taylor is the consummate professional. He knows what he’s doing. Clear communicator. Kyra is super well organized and kept on us to make necessary decisions (so much of a project delay is actually the owners fault for not making timely selections!). Stephen and Jake were excellent on the job site.

I can't say enough good things about Hopedale. From the project quote to project completion, all the staff at Hopedale are extremely professional, knowledgeable, responsive/communicative, proactive with any issues or changes to scope and overall just good at what they do. Kyra managed every detail without a miss and our project managers Stephen and Jake felt like part of our family. We will definitely use Hopedale for our next home project!

We have used Hopedale for 3 different projects--small, medium and large. Each time we have had our expectations met and exceeded. They are very professional, organized, honest and deliver what they promise. They have excellent sub-contractors. We are delighted with all of the improvements we have made to our house and would not hesitate to use them again if we come up with any more projects!

We worked with Hopedale on our Myers Park cape. It was a great experience. They navigated the pandemic to keep us on schedule, budget, and had a fantastic finished product. We added windows, turned 4 rooms into 1, renovated my home office, and bar. Everything was done with a great attention to detail. The site supervisor is Stephen Kuhn, and he is a true craftsman with great attention to detail. Kyra helped guide us through the laborious task of picking out every item of out counter tops and custom cabinets. Her expertise was much appreciated. Brett the owner was super attentive to our punch list and had any items completed after 2 weeks of funding out our issues. While living through a large renovation it is an emotional and trying time, we were happy that Hopedale was there to guide us through.

Brett, Stephen, Kyra, Lori and Team at Hopedale Builders fully deserve the 5 star rating. Plain, simple, period. Could not be happier with the finished product of our "tiny house" build. Architect Allen Brooks came up with a wonderful plan and Hopedale Builders executed it to perfection. Not our "first rodeo" with a builder, but the last time that we will ever shop for another builder. We absolutely love the finished product.

We are so grateful for Hopedale! They held our hands through a pretty large addition to our home during covid, while I was expecting our second baby. They couldn't have been better to work with throughout a pretty stressful time in our lives. Brett and his team are just great people. I cannot say enough good things about them. Brett was always available to talk through things and gives an honest opinion, which we really appreciated. Stephen comes to work everyday with the best attitude and biggest smile on his face. He is so wonderful to be around on a daily basis. He also understands kids, naps, etc., which is so helpful when you have a toddler. Kyra was a gem throughout the remodeling process. She always closed the loop on any open-ended conversation and made sure things got done! She kept us informed on timing every week and was an excellent communicator. We have a second remodeling phase to do on our house and we will definitely be using them again!

Hopedale team did a kitchen island replacement project for us and we love the results! Our house was a spec house built by Brett in 2006, and because there had been such quality construction of the house itself, we didn’t even get other bids when we wanted to update a few things in the kitchen. Our onsite project manager, Stephen Kuhn, is fabulous! His experience, attention to detail and warm demeanor are commendable. It was a small challenge to navigate working and schooling from home with no kitchen, but Kyra from Hopedale had warned us so we managed. I also need to give accolades to Brett’s use of Jon Gustafson painters who refreshed the cabinets we did not replace—incredible job! Overall very happy with this project and highly recommend Hopedale.

Brett does excellent work! He did an addition for us that included a bedroom, bathroom, half bath, playroom and office addition. Provided thorough estimates and project plan. Very thorough, responsive to questions and transparent with any concerns. Highly recommend!

We hired Hopedale for an older home remodeling, and they were fantasic throughout the entire process. From expeditiously and safely providing estimates in person and virtually during the middle of the coronavirus pandemic to completing the work within a tight time frame even with unforeseen issues arise, Brett, Kyra, and Stephen communicated with us, kept us updated and informed, provided us with multiple options and resolutions, and completed all of the work in a timely manner with great quaility. We hired Hopedale Builders to renovate our kitchen last year and had an incredible experience from start to finish. Brett, Stephen and Kyra were very accessible, transparent and easy to work with for the entirety of the project. We interacted with Stephen most often as our project manager. He was very responsive and more importantly a great person. There was never a concern about allowing his crew into the house anytime, even while we were at work. We came home to a clean jobsite, every time. That is how he runs his team. The results exceeded our expectations. They will soon be renovating our upstairs as well!
