Hueston Stair Company

Unfortunately, I used Hueston Stair company for a beautiful curved stair in a house renovation in Central Florida. Dave, the owner, seemed to know his stuff about stairs. But, he shows a lack of responsibility and dedication to his customers. Dave ripped out the old staircase and put together the stair frame and indicated that when we get close to the floors being installed, he would complete the work. Well, here we are and Dave is gone. He doesn't answer calls, texts or emails. Went by his place of business and his office is now vacant and for rent. The problem is finding someone to finish the work is not easy. Also, this will delay the completion of the house significantly. Lastly, I have real concerns that Dave didn't bother to check the local codes for the stairs. The county inspector had some issues. When I asked Dave about the codes, he acknowledged he did not check the local codes before doing the work. I am posting this review to provide anyone considering Hueston Stair Company. Use them at your own risk. Thank you.
