From the very first meeting with the Butler team we have had a positive experience. The design absolutely captured what we had asked for. We were certainly listened to which was reassuring at the start of a big project for us. All members of the team were polite, considerate, tidy and paid great attention to their work. They were also very considerate of an elderly neighbour who has dementia and were very kind to them when they came to ask about what was happening. The team was flexible and did make some amendments we requested as the work progressed. The plant design team were extremely helpful and we are very excited for spring to see how the plants develop. We have had one or two snagging issues and the team have been very responsive. nothing has been too much trouble. We would certainly recommend Butler Landscapes.

Butler Landscapes have carried out two pieces of work for us. First they did a complete restructuring of our small rear garden. This was a first class job carried out professionally and with least inconvenience to us. We are extremely pleased with the result and have no hesitation in recommending them. Secondly they have replaced an area of lawn. They did thorough preparatory work, removing sub soil rubble left by the house builder, resulting in a much improved new lawn.

Butler Landscapes designed and then built our front garden in 2022 in a very tidy, clean & professional manor which when complete looked beautiful and we have a had lot of people telling us how it has transformed the look of the whole property and asking us who carried out the works. On an ongoing basis and due to our complete lack of any gardening skills at all they also keep it looking in perfect condition by carrying out regular maintenance visits.

I have been very happy with the whole project from start to finish. 1) The initial survey was excellent , the advice I received was so helpful and the advice helped me to make up my mind on the end product that I wanted. I had many questions and they were all answered honestly allowing me to decide what I wanted. 2) The project was done in two stages. The team that done the landscaping were very professional and they kept me informed about any small changes that were needed. I should also add that they worked extremely hard in exceptional weather conditions. 3)The planting up was again first class, I was very impressed with the knowledge of the team about where each plant should go and advice I received about after care. The planting team made the whole garden light up. I am very pleased with the end product and I would certainly recommend your company to other potential customers.

Paul, Sharon and team were excellent. We had a completely blank canvas with it being a new build and they designed, built and planted the front and back to create an amazing garden. The initial meetings were informative and we covered everything in good detail. Once started, the team on site were very friendly and were more than happy to answer any questions I had. Small tweaks to the plan were no bother. The final result was to the plan and we're really looking forward to watching it grow!

Butlers, we reasoned, were good at their job, having won RHS GOLD medals at Tatton show, and have been in business for nearly 20 years. We took over a neglected large rear garden, when we moved house, and being keen on wildlife, wanted a modern garden, catering for wildlife, and vegetable growing, and contacted Butler Landscapes. We were not disappointed. After 2 initial home meetings, one to ascertain our requirements, and a second to double check our needs and measure the garden dimensions, Butlers came back with an A3 garden design, involving curved paths, pergolas, a full patio, removing the in situ steps, and replacing with a ramp, and various pergolas and archways, together with a large pond with jetty. The design not only met all our requirements, but when on site work commenced, only one minor modification to a gate position had to be made, it was incredibly well thought out. When on site work commenced, all the staff we skilled, hard working, and friendly. The workflow was excellently organised so that the right equipment and materials, and manpower was available as needed. All staff answered our questions and kept us well informed as to what they were doing, and what was going to happen tomorrow. The only delay was caused by unsuitable weather..cement and rain do not mix. At the completion of our landscaping, Paul came and checked the work, and made minor adjustments, where required, adjustments which we would not have noticed.! The workmanship and organisation by all staff was of excellent quality. We are exceptionally pleased with the service we received and the finished result, which exceeded our high expectations. We have no hesitation in recommending Butler Landscapes for your project, and would be happy for our landscaping to be viewed if arranged through Butlers Excellent jobs guys. Many thanks.

A neighbour used Butler Landscapes and we were very impressed with their garden and the positive feedback given. We contacted Paul a few months later and after consultations, with the help of their professional design plans, we were happy to proceed. A schedule was agreed for early spring and the 3 week project began. The whole team are friendly, efficient and hard working. We are extremely happy with our new garden. Sharon and Paul created a beautiful new garden from scratch for our new build home. From the outset, they listened to what we did and didn't want in our garden and quickly produced an initial plan which we were delighted to see met about 99% of our requirements, which is impressive. They responded with some very minor modifications to the plan within 24 hours and then delivered it to the letter (save for a few minor changes that needed to be made 'on the ground' when work commenced). The design makes excellent use of the space available and makes the garden look bigger with clever use of a raised seating area and raised beds. Drainage has been carefully thought about, and where we previously had slight 'pooling' by the patio doors in heavy rainfall, the team put in appropriate measures to avoid this - this has been tested to the limit with recent heavy downpours and is working well. The work team are the most professional we have ever encountered. Every single person we dealt with - whether on the phone or in person - was polite, professional, helpful and treated us like customers. To achieve this across the whole team is impressive. In particular, one employee Paul worked exceptionally hard doing the hard landscaping work, sometimes alone and sometimes in very high temperatures. Always pleasant to chat to, he consulted us about any issues he encountered and how best to resolve them. He was very willing to create a small hole in the existing fence to allow our cat to get in and out of the garden. A very nice chap to deal with. All of the team who worked on the site were exceptionally tidy, always leaving the patio area clean and tidy so that we could continue to use it in the evenings and weekends. We highly recommend Butler Landscapes Ltd for their customer focus and imaginative design which was well-executed.

Paul and Sharon spent about an hour with us to get an idea of requirements. These were to make a very wet sloping garden into something more manageable. Paul came back with the of suggestion, terracing and a quote, which we accepted. Our questions and alterations were no problem. Timescale was flexible due to a shortage of products/covid times! It was with our great excitement they arrived with all of the equipment, competent men and oak sleepers required. The only thing they didn't bring was decent weather. Unfortunately it rained and rained but that did not deter them. Eight working days later our garden was transformed into an easier to manage terraced garden and all replanted thanks to Sharon. Paul, Sharon and their team did everything and more that they said they would do, with our thanks.

Butlers team were a pleasure to work with. Undertaking a garden design project for us, building a dry stone effect wall incorporating features we had purchased from a salvage yard, as well as a sizable patio area and iron railings. The work has been completed to a very high standard, in the time frame they promised, which included finishing a key part of the project in time for our summer wedding. The staff were always helpful, know their trade, very professional and just a pleasure to have work on our project. When you spend a good sum of money and have different groups of people on your property, trust is a big factor. Knowing the work was being skilfully carried out , by a group of professionals you can trust, who take pride in their work, was a big thing for us. The team are really friendly as well and are a great bunch to share a coffee break with.

We have been using Bulter Landscapes to undertake garden renovations and landscaping for over 20 years and we wouldn’t even think of approaching anyone else. The reject was in two phases, phase 1 was the extension of the rear patio more than doubled, plus a secondary patio area to the rear (photo). Whilst this work took place I discussed my aspirations for a major change to the frontage of the barn conversion, phase 2. Paul interpreted the requirements and delivered a solution against the objectives, that was to cost, timescale and most importantly of a high quality. Butler Landscapes were commissioned to design and landscape the rear garden for our property. We were so impressed at the standard of the work that we increased the scope of the commission to the hard landscaping for the drive and parking areas and the front garden. Paul and Sharon designed our garden after spending time with us and listening to our requirements and making excellent suggestions especially regarding the types of plants and shrubs. They produced a detailed plan for us to keep and refer to. They organised the skip, the workmen, the delivery of materials and the plants. The workers did a good job of laying the paving, the path and the lawn to the design and built the lovely pergola and pateo area. They were a friendly bunch and we had no hesitation in leaving them while we were away. Paul regularly came to the site to keep an eye on progress and Sharon arranged the plants and shrubs with with an excellent eye. Paul and Sharon then completed the job themselves by planting the flowers and painting the fencing and decking. All in all they have transformed our garden into a beautiful place to be in, and friends and neighbours have all been impressed by the change. We have no doubt that the money we spent has been well worth it and has increased the price and desirability of our property.

Butler Landscapes completed a landscape project (building a terraced area, pathways and driveways, two raised beds as well as a small amount of planting) in our suburban garden in the summer of 2016. We had plans for a garden design drawn up before meeting Sharon and Paul - but these needed modifying in order to keep the project within the budget. Paul was very helpful in suggesting the elements of re-design that would keep the price down to what we could afford, and having giving us a price he stuck to it for the entirety of the work - no hidden extras, no last minute requests for extra money. Compared to past experiences it was an absolute joy! I felt that both Sharon and Paul listened to what we wanted, and didn't try and persuade us to have a design or style that we were not comfortable with, but did suggest modifications that would improve on the the practicalities or look of the design - and we were very happy with these suggestions. The work itself was completed to a very high standard, the men working on the project worked hard and felt trustworthy, which was important to me as I was out at work for much of the time. The work did take longer to complete than initially anticipated, but this was largely due to the weather - which was not under Butler Landscapes' control. Paul ensured that all the loose ends were tied up before he asked for the final payment, coming back to the site a couple of times to ensure that all the last bits and pieces of work were finished. We are delighted with the end result and looking forward to enjoying it properly after the winter.
