I have worked with Jae Studios on several new construction projects over the past 15 years. From my suggestions, Mr. Shepard was able to complete a working set of drawings that always exceeded my expectations for design and livability, at a very reasonable fee. Customer satisfaction is always a priority and his knowledge of current materials and desired floor plans make for the total package from start to finish. I would highly recommend them and will use them again on my next home building project.

Jim Shepard is an excellent designer. He is a very patient person who put us at ease by listening to our ideas. However, he was not afraid to give his professional opinion if needed to steer us in the right direction. His creativity and attention to our wants allowed him to give us a final product that made the cost completely worth it!

Jae Studios designed and prepared the blueprints for our house. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. We found working with Jae Studios put us at ease and any questions or concerns we had were address promptly. The job was finished and ready for pick up precisely on time. The building of our house went very smoothly with these detailed and accurate plans. We would definitely use them again and highly recommend Jae Studios!!!

We hired Jae Studios in 2014 on a referral from a friend. We are extremely pleased with the professional work we received from start to finish. We undertook a tear-down project on a challenging lot in Northern California. Jae's experience was a huge asset to our project as he knew how to provide the optimal design for a house on a sloping lot. At the beginning of the project Jae met with us and asked us what we wanted in a dream house. He let us first provide examples of what we were looking for and then he provided some guidance and supplemented our vision with some of his past projects. We appreciated his openness to our ideas as well as his recommendations on how to improve on them. Also, his depth of experience in the home building business was invaluable, as he provided feedback on how to build the best possible house while making sure that we constructed a house that maintained maximum value for a possible future resale. Additionally, Jae was very responsive to our plan changes and was very attentive to the details in our recommendations. Lastly, and most importantly, Jae was efficient when it came time to get the permit from our city. He had a strong knowledge of what was being requested from the city and was able to satisfy all the requests in a timely manner. Bottom line, we feel very lucky Jae helped us with our house and we would recommend him to anyone!
