bought Jennair Pro 30 gas stove/oven 5 years ago here in Vaughan Ontario, Canada. Kept having F1E1 electrical error code that shut down oven. several replacement of electronic boards under warranty culminating 4 months ago. Eventually agreed to replace that stove with Jennair Noir for extra money through customer experience. That's fine. We were patient for 5 years and were getting what was supposed to be a new stove. No complaints so far. But then, the problem starts. Got new stove delivered and installed by jennair/whirlpool technician around May 11. that afternoon found simmer flame 12 inches high and left fron burner flame 8 inches high. Clearly not normal. Plus oven took between 75 minutes to over 2 hours to preheat to 350 degrees on bake. 58 minutes on convection bake to preheat. Clearly not normal. Something is wrong. Technicians said could not find anything wrong. Jennair technician even had the nerve to tell us "Well that's just the way it is. What do you want me to do. " They scheduled a third service call for May 21 where I was told two technicians were going to come to diagnose all the interior of the stove to try to figure out problem. They were a no show on May 21. Called customer experience, and they told me tech cancelled the call. Not even the courtesy of informing me. Customer experience even had the nerve to almost blame me because their reports said nothing was wrong!. Then she reviewed my file and came back on the line to try to get technician back in. So far without an oven for 10 days. Guess I will have to wait after this long weekend to find out what is happening. So more waiting.... But then I had the thought after googling.... and I am not an expert .... i replace the plates on the burners with dangerously high flame with plates that were larger although they were not designed for that stove and dont sit properly. But at least they overlap the holes on the burner - and voila the flames looked normal!!!!!! Although I am nt an expert to tell if the BTU is normal so hope they check. But the fact here is the so called EXPERTS could not figure out maybe its the wrong plate if they could not find anything else wrong!!! So hopefully when they come back, they will bring the correct plates for the burners!!!! But that leaves the over that doesn't ignite properly and takes 75 minutes (1.25 hours) to 2 hours to preheat on bake - still not normal in any reality.
