Jenny Hoffman Designs, a division of Koncept1, Inc. is located in the Funk Zone Annex of Santa Barbara, we are an interior design firm working on custom residential & commercial projects. We manage the design aspect from beginning to end and love the process of interacting closely with clients as well as the local craftsmen and vendors that make this town so special. We have a deep commitment to our clients, where budget and function are just as important to the design, as is the appearance. Extensive knowledge of building systems and construction assures high level of quality in all our projects. It also means that every project we produce is unique and no design is the same. Owner/ Principal: Jenny Johansson Hoffman, Allied ASID A Swedish native, Jenny has been around design and art since childhood. At an early age she learned to appreciate the art and architecture Europe is known for. She was lucky enough to grow up in a lifestyle that consisted of traveling for business and pleasure. She has visited over 30 countries and appreciates the unique brilliance each has to offer. Thailand, however, has found a special place in her heart. She has been visiting Thailand for over 20 years and has grown fond of its people, culture and raw beauty. Her travels to China and Vietnam in the 90's also provided special inspiration because tourism had not yet been visible. Paris has been re-explored the last couple of years and being in the design industry what better place to find inspiration. In Santa Barbara, she founded Koncept1 Interior Design Studio in 2002 and is now the Jenny Hoffman Designs division. After working at Warner Group Architects in Montecito, she received a wide range of experience ranging from country clubs and high-end residential projects to the day to day tasks needed to get projects started and finished. She has a five year education from the Academy of Art College in San Francisco and from UCLA Interior Architectural Environmental Program where she studied under architects such as David Hertz, Michael Hricak, Bruno Bondanelli, and David Antilla. In Santa Barbara and around the world she consistently finds new trends, sustainable products, and creative ways of living for people with a passion for life.
