About Us

We do it all, from design consultation to floor plans, 3D renderings, construction documents to finishes and furniture -- all within your time frame and your budget. We truly are the one call you have to make -- we help put together your dream design team for your dream home! Responding to your needs is our first priority. That's why we are called "a concierge level residential interior construction and design firm". Based in Denver, Colorado, we work throughout the Rocky Mountain region. We are extremely detail-oriented professionals who are here to ensure that nothing is overlooked. Whether it's a small remodel, furnishing a room or building a new home from the ground up, we work with you to create your dream home. Joyce Clegg, principal, is an ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) allied member, an active member of NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Assocation) and a certified again-in-place specialist through the HBA. After pursuing a degree in Interior Design, Joyce started Dream Homes in 1999. Since then her firm has helped hundreds and hundreds of homeowners make their dreams come true. Joyce's work has been featured in The Denver Post, Colorado Homes & Lifestyles, Luxe Magazine, The New York Times, London Times-Herald and in small publications in Winter Park, Fort Collins and Breckenridge. In addition, she has done work with HGTV and DIY network in various homes featured on those networks throughout the Denver metro area.

Joyce Clegg is the ideal interior design professional: smart, knowledgeable, full of great ideas and great taste, a wonderful listener, and someone whose can-do attitude translates into making thugs happen fast and well. When I bought an historic loft and needed to upgrade the lights and other accessories fast and by long distance, Joyce made things happen fast: coming up with lots of ideas, refining them, and coming up with great results. I quickly learned to rely on Joyce and her team in every way. I would not consider working with anyone else and look forward to working with her on other design projects in my loft. I used Joyce to redesign and remodel my guest bathroom. And again to do my master bathroom. And yet again to do my living room. Had I not been impressed from my initial experience I would not have gone back, but she was very easy to work with and did an excellent job of bringing my ideas to life. She listened to what I wanted, pushed back when I was taking an idea too far, and created spaces that not only look great but were also very functional! I should also mention that she did a great job of reigning in the contractors to keep them on time and on schedule, which can be a full time job in its own. If I had any more design projects, Joyce would be the first person I'd call.

We have hired Joyce Clegg, and her firm, Daydream Inc, for interior decorating three times in the last 10 years; two separate remodeling jobs on our first house, in the Denver area, and a whole house interior design for our second house. The second house was in Tucson and we felt it was well worth it to bring Joyce out there. She is very good at intermixing good design advice with what our vision was. Sometimes our vision wasn't as expert as we thought it was and Joyce very tactfully explained what was a better way. At first, I was skeptical about some design changes she suggested, but that skepticism was soon replaced with a great deal of confidence. I personally give Joyce the very highest recommendation possible. Note: the project cost shown is the total of all three jobs. They range from about 50K to over 100K. The date is that of the most recent job.

We have contracted with Joyce for a multi-phased interior remodel of our existing home over the past 2+ years. Initially working to add outdoor furntiure to our newly constructed patios and decks, Joyce took charge in re-designing our master bedroom, bath and closet as phase I, complete redesign of our basement, including a library, work-out room, home theater, kitchen/bar, and game rooms and redesign of our main floor office as phase II and most recently, a complete redesign and traffic flow of our kitchen (down to the studs), living, dining, mud, laundry and powder rooms, including new flooring and entryways with unique, Celtic designs. Joyce took the time to understand our likes, our dislikes and guided our vision of what our home could become. Not only continually amazing us with her talents as a designer, but Joyce well understands the construction process and is an invaluable asset to keep the construction schedule on track. Joyce is meticulous, and uses all her talents in completing each assignment, working well with contractors, and third parties to ensure a smooth project.

This was the second major project working with Daydream, Inc. (kitchen remodel; living room, powder room, hallway remodel, 2011) Joyce has been an absolute pleasure to work with. She kept us focused and both projects on schedule. Her designs for custom tile and cabinet glass are beautiful. Joyce captured the historic elements of our house along with our sensibility for clean lines. We have received numerous compliments on the specifics of the projects, as well as the overall design of our first floor. Most importantly, we love and use our space.
