Grand Kitchen + Bath

I am very pleased to write this review for Grand Kitchen and Bath. Santiago and his team did an outstanding job - helping me visualize a new kitchen design, selecting materials, demo, construction, and all finishing touches. He was always accessible, responding to my questions promptly and following through on my requests. Additionally - I loved the floor tile he chose for the kitchen so much, that we replaced our dated sunroom floor with the same tile! The project was completed on time and within budget. I highly recommend Grand Kitchen and Bath for all of your remodeling needs!

Grand Kitchen + Bath. (GK) 33704. A Horrible Experience. Limited space here prevents a deep explanation (as I did more at GoogleReviews). In 2019, I hired GK to renovate a kitchen with new cabinets, counters and flooring. The Quartz countertops turned out to be defective. The flooring was warping 7m after installation (see pix). I understand problems may occur. My gripe re: GK (& Richard) is that he persisted in (incorrectly) blaming me regarding two serious issues: 1: my counter's blemished appearance & my vinyl floor warping after 9 months. I would prove him wrong re: both issues. It was a miserable experience. Now on a 2nd project using different company (MCC) & I'm thrilled that if I am at all unhappy, they immediately work to resolve it. I NEVER experienced that with GK. If all goes well, U'll probably will be happy. If there are problems, you'll likely wallow in UR own misery and NOT be taken care of by Richard/GK!! ~Stuart

Recently we decided that we needed to do something about the cabinets in our kitchen area. The original cabinets were beginning to show their age, and the whole area needed an overhaul. As with any new construction adventure, you approach it with excitement and dread because your life is going to be disrupted for a while, and any new project brings on a sense of foreboding as you never know quite what to expect. Plus we dreaded the regimen that it takes to wade through everyone's "great" ideas about what you should do. Then a friend of ours recommended working with Grand Kitchen + Bath who he and his wife had used with great success. He said that their deal was to find out what you wanted conceptually and then they give you the freedom to choose from their vast array of authorized cabinet manufacturers. He said that you have the option to choose everything such as the size of the cabinets, style, materials, the finish and colors. Then they worked with the chosen cabinet makers, Siteline Cabinetry, to build everything from scratch, just to fit your desires. My friend also pointed out that when his project was all finished, it was really a huge enhancement to the overall value of his home. It was definitely well worth the investment. We located our authorized Siteline dealer, Grand Kitchen and Bath and got started. What was really amazing, once we got into it the representative took us through a very fine-tuned exercise to help build the cabinets in accordance with the usage and utility they would have. When he got finished, we knew where everything was going to go down to plates, silverware, pots and pans, family heirlooms, and the rest of everything else. Once our ideas were on paper, an overall engineering design was completed, we chose our colors and finishes, and the order was sent off to the Siteline manufacturing facility and before we knew it we had new cabinets. We had the choice of over 40 door styles, for example and an entire spectrum of color. I would recommend Grand Kitchen and Bath and Siteline cabinets to anyone even considering a cabinet upgrade. Once the finished product was installed it was like we had moved into a completely new house.

A few months ago my husband and I decided that the cabinets in our kitchen had to go. Our children were out of the house with families of their own by now and we had come up with different uses for several of our storage spaces, but it didn't always work out. The cabinets in the utility and laundry room needed some help too. The problem was that it took time to shop for ideas, and just who to work with was a big challenge. It seemed like the more that we looked, the more confusing things became. Then one day I was talking with a neighbor and she suggested that we look into Siteline Cabintery. I had never heard of them, but she said she had been going through the same challenges and that they were a real breath of fresh air. My neighbor said that they had a system where they can guide you by knowing what you want to use your cabinets for, and they will help you design them. Sounded good to us, so we decided to give them a try. When the representative came to our home to give us some ideas we were amazed at how he went into detail asking us questions about how we intended to use the cabinets. He really got into detail to the point we really had to make some decisions. But, by the time we were finished we had a plan. We had an array of choices for colors, design, door styles, cabinet size, and many other options. But when he left, he had it roughed out on paper which he took back to his office. Then within a week a man came and took measurements. Then the whole order was sent off to the Siteline manufacturing facility where they made our cabinets from scratch. Now that our new cabinets have been installed it is as if we are living in a totally brand new home. We really have a brand new look, yet we still have the house we have always enjoyed. These cabinets are not the run-of-the-mill cabinets you see everywhere else, but they are so unique that we always have positive comments from family and friends. Siteline Cabinetry did the job for us, and we are glad they did.

Grand kitchen and bath has remodeled both of my bathrooms in my 40+ year home. They were knowledgeable, organized and responsive to my requests. I have a very busy travel schedule so many decisions were made through email and text messages throughout the week. All of their work crews were clean, prompt and trustworthy. They work with many quality brands and added some nice finishing touches that I did not know to ask for.

We renovated our home in 2013. We chose this company to do our kitchen. All I can say is that it has taken me two years to write this review; the experience was so poor. The positives: we chose high end cabinetry and quartz countertops and the cabinet installer was very good. The negatives: the owner of this business and his lack of professionalism and follow through. His communication with us was poor and got worse throughout the timeframe of the job. There were numerous issues which he treated with nonchalance. Some issues remained (and remain) outstanding as we held back some funds until (or if) he decided to fix them. He chose NOT to finish the job. As a result, the cabinet company, Elmwood, will not honor any warranty because they have chosen not to get in the middle of their customer's (Grand Kitchen and Bath) issue. Unless you want grief, steer clear of Grand Kitchen and Bath!

I was very impressed with Grand kitchen and Bath. After walking around their show room, and talking with the owner, they made my decision a lot easier in choosing a contractor to help with the interior lay out of my home. I like the idea of a one stop shop, and I felt really comfortable with them and their knowledge and product offering.

We hired Grand Kitchen & Bath to renovate our kitchen and bathrooms in a high rise condo building in downtown St. Petersburg, FL. The results are outstanding and we are very happy with the work that they provided. This is not an easy building to work in as a contractor. There are many restrictions placed on the contractors who choose to work in this building and the professionalism and patience that Grand Kitchen & Bath and their subcontractors demonstrated during the renovation was great. We would definitely use them again and would recommend them to others. Thanks Grand Kitchen & Bath!

Did not perform to our expectations. We are very disappointed and dissatisfied with the treatment we received from Grand Kitchen & Bath in February 2014.

Over a year ago my husband and I took on the daunting task of renovating a 3700 sq.ft. house in St. Pete from Atlanta. After meeting with two other kitchen and bath companies and feeling a great deal of frustration, we went to Grand Kitchen. Richard Valmain immediately understood our vision - a clean contemporary design - and their contemporary cabinet selection was the absolute best in the Bay area. The scope of work included a large kitchen, large master bath, two secondary baths and a laundry. Richard took over the design process and the results were amazing. After a certain point I defaulted to "whatever you think Richard" because his ideas and suggestions were cutting edge but always on point. He also suggested a custom-made console from exotic wood veneers that he designed and built for our dining room. The installers were exacting, professional, clean and personable that I can only describe as "Ivy League" in the world of contractors. While all this sounds incredibly expensive, we found the prices at Grand Kitchen to be more than reasonable and see real value in the finished product. They also worked incredibly well with and through our builder over a much longer built-out period (because we kept doing more and more) than originally expected. I write this review because Grand Kitchen deserves the accolades and because the world deserves to be a more beautiful place, one kitchen and bath at a time. I am a total believer in this company!

Working with Grand Kitchen and Bath has been a great experience. Their professionalism and expertise is second to none. No job is too big or too small they give the same great attention to detail regardless of the size.

A week doesn't go by that I don't say to myself (and often out loud) "I love my kitchen!" My experience with Grand Kitchen & Bath was easy from beginning to end. The best part is the real world analysis that they did in designing a terrific kitchen from a terrible 1950's space. I enjoy the thoughtful placement of cabinets that came about as a result of the many questions about how I use my kitchen. I loved the personal touch even down to their understanding my "gadget" habit and where to store them out of site. Another important part of my experience with Grand Kitchen is that they noticed right away I have an issue with decisions. Instead of letting me loose with the gazillion choices, they once again through questions, helped me by reducing the clutter and make my selections very easy. Bottom line, the folks at Grand Kitchen invest thought and time into working with customers and they will be my go-to for any future re-models.
