hi, i'm katelyn! i hate capital letters and i am really terrible at dancing but what i can do, is create! i'm a 21 year old gal doing her best in this wild world! as a kid, mum would plonk me on the floor with a piece of paper and a couple of crayons and i'd be set for literal hours! i used to wander in my grandparents garden, pick flowers and then press them in big, heavy books (and get in so much trouble for it). i have been the designated cake decorator & platter creator in the family for years and years, and love to eat them as much as make them. i started out as a make-up artist and had the most incredible opportunities working on tv shows such as puberty blues & gallipoli the mini series. a couple of years later, i put down the makeup brush, picked up a t-square and began my journey as an interior designer! i learnt the ins and outs at enmore design centre and billy blue college of design and worked 4 days a week at a flooring company called bruce bros. after i finished my studies, i applied for the job of my dreams as the company manager at design twins, and styled my little heart out on magazines (inside out, country style and house & garden). fast track 2 years and here i am, starting my own lil' thang.
