Purchase Luxury framed prints from local artists primarily from the Central Coast or upload your own photos and transform them into personal works of art. Each framed print is hand-crafted in our studio using museum grade photographic papers, genuine archival inks, locally produced moulding and premium mats. Our framed prints are produced using archival inks which are designed to last 75 years without fading or loss of colour. As long as you don't place your print outdoors where it will be subjected to high humidity, extreme temperatures, and/or direct rain, your print will last a lifetime! Amante Photography’s expert staff cut and assemble each framed print by hand. Our moulding (the wooden outer edge), comes from a local boutique moulding company that have been running their small family business for almost 30 years. Their moulding is 100% Australian made and is cut using one solid piece of wood. Many framers obtain the majority of their moulding from Indonesia, which is environmentally unsound. This inferior moulding is covered by a hard resin which is designed to hide the underlying blemishes and imperfections and can chip and smudge easily. Amante’s moulding, in comparison, allows all the natural wooden grains to come through to the surface and are painted or stained. We support local industries wherever possible, purchasing our quality acrylic locally. There is often a misconception that acrylics are inferior to glass, but there have been great improvements in the quality of acrylics in recent years. Acrylic, (as opposed to glass), allows the frame to breathe, which means less build up of mildew over time. There is also less of a colour cast compared to glass, and you are less likely to damage the art work if accidentally dropped.
