I just wanted to share our awe and gratitude for the work effort put forth by Katherine. I think my big East Coast city husband now has a greater respect and appreciation for what real Southern hospitality is all about. Words cannot do justice to describe what a privilege it was to work with Katherine. We are currently living in another state; so our timeline to look was extremely limited. Even before we arrived, there were several phone conversations, and emails; and possible property lists to be reviewed and these lists were update just prior to our arrival. Sun/Mon/Wed were very productive and full days and Katherine was REALLY prepared with printouts, and maps and even water and snacks. During this time we saw over 25 properties in about 4 hrs per day. Sounds impossible, yes ?!? But on our last day, Thurs we were at warp speed and she was with us as relator and legal adviser and tour guide and through it all ... as cool as a glass of sweetened ice tea. New construction house and lot found; contract signed, and we're meeting with the design studio tomorrow. I am assuming she'd be as effective and diligent when selling a home as well. Any one looking for but not choosing Katherine as their agent, would be missing out on someone who is respectful, empathetic, professional, confident, genuine, and more than competent.. Who could ask for anything more. She was like a yummy gumbo made up of Southern Belle Gentility and Steel Magnolia Tenacity.

Working with Katherine Roberts of the Residential Company made our first home buying experience painless. She was referred to us by some friends of ours who had just moved to the same neighborhood. They too had only great things to say about her professionalism, prompt responses, and accountability. Due to a time crunch on our part, Katherine willingly submitted an offer via an airplane when she was on summer vacation with her family! Now that's dedication and problem solving. We ended up getting our offer in in time because of her willingness to work remotely on our behalf, beating out many other offers. We were thrilled when we got the house. Katherine is also a wealth of knowledge when it comes to contractors and other home service professionals, which is always helpful. She is like a walking Angie's list!
